Stop it. Iowa matters and we all know it. This is a disappointment, and sugarcoating it isn't going to help. This isn't pessimism, this is being realistic.
Yes, Santorum is going to get vetted and knocked out of the top tier, and it's going to be a two-man race. However, we just lost a huge amount of momentum, which would be nice when we end up facing Romney.
Well we have to be realistic. This loss in no way helps us. It hurts us -- pretty badly. There is, however, a chance that we pull out a nh victory.Stop it. Iowa matters and we all know it. McCain got 13% and 4th place in Iowa in 2008.
We have made large strides. I'm sorry you can't see that.
What's this "we" stuff? I said early on that a victory was not a be all end all. I also said stop with this youth and progressive voter nonsense and that to win in a Republican primary Paul has to win or at least be competitive with the OLD PEOPLE because they vote.
I was ignored all on fronts. Why?
Yes, we got nailed with the media pumping Santorum during the last week. But if Paul pushed his anti-abortion stance and promoted his bring the troops home to save SS, Medicare and Medicaid, we would have built a solid wall to prevent that artificial Santorum surge.
Seriously, do I need to be running the campaign? It's so elementary. :roll eyes:
Remember, this is not the general election we are running in for the next few months.
