Toxic Anger. Dr. Ron Paul Has the Cure, But Will Anyone Listen?

This should get my McBama friends attention in the subject box... :D Thanks ;)

That is what I am here for! I love that this article attacks them both equally! Made me really grin. One two punch!

And what can they say? That they didn't lie? It exposes them both as slime. So lovely!

Hey, what is with all those weird new posts about fluoride and stuff? This place is really changing.

Yeah, wow! That is what I have been trying to tell you. Trust me. The article is great! (For anyone that hasn't read it yet.) It is easy to read, only about a page and a half and very simple - yet so powerful. That is why it is so good.

I have been out of it for a while, but are there still any meet up groups around? Maybe we can send them a copy so they can pass it around?

Let's do a DIGG on this!!!

I just sent it to my Democrat Dad.

Let's hit DIGG with it. I will submit it now.

Digg was already there

Yes, but we can help bump its numbers. All together now: DIGG!!!

In fact, if you click on the article itself it has a link to the digg page. Then you get to give the article a bump and Digg it. Sort of a double whammy.

Will folks let me know what their Democrat friends say about this piece? I am really curious. I can't tell if I am being persuasive or if the article is doing all the work.

Uncle Obama's Tax Plan

Here's the same philosophy applied to Uncle Obama's tax plan. An explanation of our tax system using actual percentages, the impact of a tax cut, and the public reaction that everyone should be able to understand.

Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:

The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay $1.
The sixth would pay $3.
The seventh would pay $7.
The eighth would pay $12.
The ninth would pay $18.
The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.

So, that's what they decided to do. The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve. 'Since you are all such good customers,' he said, 'I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by $20.' Drinks for the ten now cost just $80.

The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes, so the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free. But what about the other six men – the paying customers? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his 'fair share?'

They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer. So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill by roughly the same amount, and he proceeded to work out the amounts each should pay.

And so – The fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% savings).
The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33%savings).
The seventh now pay $5 instead of $7 (28%savings). The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% savings).
The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 ( 22% savings).
The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings)..

Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued to drink for free. But once outside the restaurant, the men began to compare their savings.

'I only got a dollar out of the $20,'declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man,' but he got $10!'

'Yeah, that's right,' exclaimed the fifth man. 'I only saved a dollar, too. It's unfair that he got ten times more than I!'

'That's true!!' shouted the seventh man. 'Why should he get $10 back when I got only two? The wealthy get all the breaks!'

'Wait a minute,' yelled the first four men in unison. 'We didn't get anything at all. The system exploits the poor!'

The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up. The next night the tenth man didn't show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn't have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill!

And that, boys and girls, journalists and college professors, is how our tax system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they might start drinking overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier.

I have been having a discussion on a Republican board and it seems that most of them are kids who unconditionally trust the government, want as much intervention as possible and attack anyone who defends liberty and freedom as being a tin foil hat nut.

If that is the majority position, then we have a country of socialists and fascists and we are in real trouble - because they are basically the same thing.

I feel more committed than ever to fight as hard as possible to wake people up! We must gather all the liberty minded together or the concept will die out in a generation or two and be gone forever.

The next 4 years are going to be dreadful. Massive layoffs, a severe depression, and a disappearance of wealth the likes of which we have never seen. I would not be surprised at all to see someone like Hitler rise and take over. We are laying the seeds for it. We have our scapegoat - Muslims and all brown people. This is not just a hobby anymore. Lives are going to depend on our work.

And we are alone and ridiculed. That is why we must set out to spread the truth of liberty harder than ever. Right now the Dems are talking about taking control of your 401K and only letting you put your money into t-bills so this failing government will have a huge supply of low cost loans. The program will be run by SS.

Folks, I am not always this gloomy and you must forgive me, but I am rattled to my bones today.

I am going to print ten thousand copies of that article and put them everyplace I see. This started as just a nice article that I thought others would like, but is has now morphed for me. We must save this country.

I enjoyed that. Great analogy. Saved it for future reference.

Did you write that yourself?

I liked it too, except for the overseas part. It seems there may be no where to hide once a global central bank is in place. Wish there were. But that is very powerful.

Thanks.

For those that don't feel like scrolling all the way up, this is the article we are discussing: http://www.lewrockwell.com/orig8/hamilton7.html

Have a good read. Good night.
I think.
