Yeah, this really sucks, and it might be Trump's Waterloo. I really, really hate to say it. Like a punch to the guts.
I still think this nasty locker room banter is small potatoes compared to the reams of savage things Hillary has actually done. There's a good chance I will still vote for the Trump ticket as an FU to the establishment, or whoever replaces him if they subscribe to the same platform.
I don't see how he wins at this point without major crippling dirt coming out on Hillary. The thought of her as President for the next four years, if she even lasts that long, is gut wrenching.
I hope I'm not being too defeatist, but it feels like it's going to take a miracle to keep her out now.
You know you've fvcked up when your line of defense is "but what about Bill Clinton?"
To be fair, the number of rape allegations leveled on Old Bill seem way higher than any against Trump. But I'd agree this does almost neuter any line of attack. Really disappointing.
This election is probably going to have a depressing end for anyone except socialist Democrats unless something amazing happens. I'd say there are a lot of lessons we can still draw from Trump's successes and failures, including what the establishment and media will do if anyone not 100% under their control ever gets this far again.
I also hope to God the GOP is able to hold Congress, or at least the House, whatever goes down. Seeing Hillary with an Obama '08 like majority will probably make me vomit. No joke.
Of course now that piece of $#@! Jeb chiming in. No surprise there.
9 When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman. 10 Then Jesus stood up again and said to the woman, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?”
11 “No, Lord,” she said.
And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.”
New Hampshire Republican Sen. Kelly Ayotte, who is running for reelection and has sought to distance herself from the bombastic party nominee on several occasions, was the first Republican member of Congress to publicly condemn Trump's 2005 comments following their release in a one sentence statement to ABC News.
"His comments are totally inappropriate and offensive" Ayotte said.
The comments were panned by the Republican National Committee. "No woman should ever be described in these terms or talked about in this manner. Ever," chairman Reince Priebus said in a statement.
Arizona Republican Sen. Jeff Flake, who has been a prominent detractor of Trump's throughout the election, took to Twitter to again disparage his party's nominee following the recording's release.consequences."
As expected, here is another. There was no reason for any of them to speak out. Anything the Neocon establishment can do to help Hillary.
This is a never forget moment if Trump loses due to their helping hand on this. Those families and their extended families should be the targets of political retribution and summarily ostracized in all public and business dealings.
