WAPO: Vulgar video of Trump Recorded in 2005

Wow, considering the amount of blood on McCain's hands, that's rich.

LOL. Neocons all.

New Hampshire Republican Sen. Kelly Ayotte, who is running for reelection and has sought to distance herself from the bombastic party nominee on several occasions, was the first Republican member of Congress to publicly condemn Trump's 2005 comments following their release in a one sentence statement to ABC News.

"His comments are totally inappropriate and offensive" Ayotte said.

The comments were panned by the Republican National Committee. "No woman should ever be described in these terms or talked about in this manner. Ever," chairman Reince Priebus said in a statement.

Arizona Republican Sen. Jeff Flake, who has been a prominent detractor of Trump's throughout the election, took to Twitter to again disparage his party's nominee following the recording's release.

And Sen. John McCain, who Trump has said was not a hero because he was captured during the Vietnam War, said there were "no excuses" for Trump's remarks. "No woman should ever be victimized by this kind of inappropriate behavior," he said. "He alone bears the burden of his conduct and alone should suffer the consequences."

And several members of the Republican primary field, including John Kasich, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz all took Trump to task.

Crisis Meeting Happening at Trump Tower Right Now

By Erick Erickson | October 7, 2016, 09:30pm

Sources are telling me that there is a crisis level meeting happening right now at Trump Tower. Pressure is being brought to bear by RNC and GOP leadership sources against Trump and his team. I’m told to expect “major s**t to hit the fan”.

Republicans are pissed. But it is too late to really act. Nonetheless, tonight there are people telling Trump if he does not hand the keys over to Mike Pence, he will lose and his post-loss business and reputation will be irreparably harmed.

I’m being told members of his family are involved in the conversation.

This seems to be the talking point of the day that I have seen everywhere, its too late to do anything about the presidential race and that Clinton has basically already won. Even the people that say that they can replace Trump with Pence are saying that even Pence can't win at this point since he has so much dog shit stuck to him.

This is a private conversation. I am not shocked even a little bit nor is what he said even offensive. Consequences for what? I am bothered that people are bothered by this. Trump's policies are offensive. What people say in private 11 years ago is meaningless.

huh what if Trump said 11 years ago that he is going to run for president just so he can help his friends the Clinton's win their 3rd term? I mean I am not saying he said that, but what Trump says does matter, otherwise he would be winning. Its the Trumps campaign talking point that says words don't matter, and I am surprised he hasn't doubled down on it.

He can be replaced, but he would have to withdraw voluntarily, the RNC would choose the replacement. The votes go to the electors, not the candidate. Places that have faithless elector laws could bind them to Trump/Pence, but otherwise they can cast their votes for the replacement candidate.

Doing this will essentially concede the POTUS race, but allow the GOP to put everything into holding the Senate.

What you are saying makes a lot of sense, but all of the MSM sources are saying that they hate us for our freedoms.

It matters to the extent that people are stupid. And he basically did double down on it. His apology isn't really an apology. He said it was a private conversation and Bill Clinton has said worse to him.

This kind of stuff has nothing to do with the job. I am quite sure Jack Welch and Steve Jobs and Bob Knight have said much worse. It is just not important. It is the same thing with Gary Johnson not knowing about Aleppo. It has nothing to do with the job.

"And if you exclude third-party candidates, Clinton has turned a four-point deficit before the debate into a 20-point lead, 57-37 -- a net shift of 24 points."

I was with you until you said, "Gary Johnson not knowing about Aleppo", since geo politics IS part of the job.

Is Donald Trump Dropping Out? Republicans Making Plans To Pick Another Candidate After Bombshell Tape, Report Claims
http://www.inquisitr.com/3570841/is...candidate-after-bombshell-tape-report-claims/
Donald Trump could be dropping out of the race for president, with reports on Friday that Republicans are exploring their options for another candidate in the wake of the bombshell tape showing Trump making crude and disparaging comments about women.

With his campaign already reeling from more than a week of campaign stumbles and harmful stories, some close to Trump believe that the most recent story could be enough to sink the candidate. And reports indicate that Republicans are exploring their options for a ticket that doesn’t include Donald Trump.

New York Times reporter Yamiche Alcindor noted that Republicans were already meeting on Friday night to discuss their options if Donald Trump drops out.

Neocon drama queen Erickson says it's game over. I won't believe it until Bill Kristol says so.

Too bad the Constitution Party has limited ballot access this cycle since I cannot see the Republicans picking a Paul in place of Trump. More likely Pence if Trump drops. Something like Pence/Cruz or Cruz/Pence.

You Hurt Your Witness Now and You Should Be Ashamed
By Erick Erickson | October 7, 2016, 07:11pm

Donald Trump has yet again been revealed as a moral cretin and many of his Christian supporters have revealed themselves to be fine with it. Eric Metaxas dismissed Trump’s statement as Trump being Trump before admitting he had not actually seen the video. David Brody was just as dismissive. Ralph Reed couldn’t care less about it.

Do these people not care about leading others to Christ? Are they so wrapped up in the day to day partisanship of Repubilcan vs. Democrat that they have abandoned Christ vs. the World.

Shame on them.

The chief end of man is to glorify God. Trump’s statements do not glorify God and taking the position that we’re all sinners so it is no big deal does not glorify God either. Trump is an unrepentant sinner who revels in his sins and many a prominent Christian with a platform and spotlight on them are defending Trump reveling in sin instead of calling on him to repent.

Eric Metaxas, a man who wrote about Bonhoffer, has descended into partisan defender of the indefensible. Ralph Reed would remind you Satan was an angel before his retirement if you wrote him a big enough check.

At some point your faith must come first. You are commanded by the Lord your God to go into the world and make disciples. You do not do that by defending the indefensible in the name of “well he is not Clinton.”

You should all be ashamed of yourselves. You should have known a man who revels in his sins would have stuff like this in his background. Though we are all sinners and all like sheep have gone astray, we have not all bragged on television camera about trying to sleep with a married woman and then saying repeatedly that we’ve got nothing for which we must ask God for forgiveness.

Backing Trump is not worth risking your witness. Defending the indefensible is not worth your integrity. And Trump in the White House is not worth your soul.

You should be ashamed.
