Vote for 3rd party.. DOESN'T MATTER WHICH ONE. If anything Libertarian Party. Barr won't win, he's a douche.. but think of them for the future.

If you vote for Obama you will just be another anonymous democrat voter. The salespeople in charge will think that even more people want Obama's message and increase the numbers of associates selling that socialist message.
If you vote 3rd party you are saying to those salespeople and potential salespeople that there is a potential niche to exploit, that you are not interested in purchasing the fascism or socialism they currently have on sale.
not only the salespeople, but the next elections buyers, send a signal to the sheep that the grass is greener elsewhere, and they won't be eating alone.

If McCain wins all the leaders of the GOP will be rewarded as a job well done. If McCain and most of the House and Congress take a good ass kicking that leadership will be questioned and weakened.
I am voting for all Dems including Obama unless I have a choice to vote for a RP Republican..........
I want them to lose and lose bad - then I will go back and question that leadership and how they treated the RP people.
Bob Bar is not going to win period - Ron Paul knows that or he would have run as Libertarian himself.
Making the leadership look bad is what I want... and as I see it the only thing that will work.. If McCain wins they will all be gloating saying see what a great job we did with the way we dealt with the Ron Paul people!
I am voting Obama as a vote against my enemy the GOP because that is what they are my enemy. I know how I was treated as a state and district delegate. My aim is to hurt them with my vote....... They are not the Republican party they are enemies.........

There are two sides to it. By voting for Obama and the democrats you are also endorsing their views. You aren't just saying you don't like the republican platform, you are saying you like the democrat platform. Which means you will get even more of it.
I say, either vote your 3rd party protest vote or abstain. Unless you do actually support the democrat platform.

People will have four more years to get sick of his Bush like policies. And Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity will have nobody but their guy to blame all of our problems on. If Obama is elected he will be blamed for the economic collapse of 2009.

I'd say it has an equal chance of dying out no matter whether Obama or McCain wins. I don't endorse either, so I can't vote for either one. I'd prefer to make sure my protest vote is counted instead of endorsing the democrat platform. I don' t like BBarr either but like you said he ain't gonna win so no worries.

I can agree with that - but you said nothing about the leadership of the GOP and that is what I think is important. So I will ask again but put it differently.
What happens to the leadership of the GOP and us if McCain wins or if they get an ass kicking from the Dems.

Thanks, really I don't even care if its Barr. He may be an undercover neocon for all I care. Baldwin is not going to be on my California ballot apparently, so I will vote for Barr. I vote not for Barr, but for the principles and ideas he presents (regardless of how opportunistic and flip-floppy his presentation may be).
If my voting for Barr, helps McCain win...I don't care. If it helps Obama win...I don't care. Some of you need to review the first part of Ventura's speech at R4R the other day. You can not vote thinking about how your vote with sway the election between the two "different" parties. Like he said, just vote your heart and your conscious, and you haven't wasted your vote.
He is no Ron Paul by a long shot, but intelligent people should and will assume that a vote for Barr (or Baldwin) is a vote for Ron Paul because we all know that they wouldn't be running if Dr. Paul was in the race as an Independent.

I too am voting for Obama. After 8 years of Bush, the only way Obama can take this country is up.
I don't feel like giving Bush another four years and I most certainly don't feel like pissing away my vote on a third party candidate and watching Bush get elected again.

I understand your frustration, but please give it some serious thought, because you will not be able to live with your conscience afterward. We have something the Obama fans do not, it is knowledge, of what he is really about, thanks to Ron Paul. Once you know, you cannot just forget, so it will haunt you if you vote for someone you know will be a bad choice for the country. Please just vote your conscience, its way better.
