Your screen name just gave me an idea for the Ron Paul campaign theme song- "Rusty Cage" by Soundgarden...although the Johnny Cash Version will do.Bump
Let me clarify that...the members of the Republican party who left between present day and 2000. I am registered Republican and consider myself a Republican but I will vote for Obama before I vote for any of the other clowns running for the Republican nomination. The party has shrunk by what? 25-30 percent in the past 10 years? In closed primary states those folks can't vote for RP but they will vote for him in the general election. How does the republican party hate McCain and Romney. They are the ones leading everything.
I think a better visual would be the look four used car salesman would have on their faces if, in the midst of trying to sell a pile of shit to a customer, the fifth salesman walked out of the office and told the customer, "Don't buy this one. The tires are bald, the brakes don't work and the engine won't start. But other than that, it is fine."Yes it was quite a profound statement. He said just what everybody up there has been thinking and just didn't want to say it or even have it heard. He actually gave the Democrats props for doing things that the Neocons have pushed aside and outlined the entire problem with the GOP's current platform. Seemed like all the candidates were quite attentive during this response.
Once again the Doctor educating like it's a K-5 class.![]()
This was a very interesting response, and definitely a warning shot over the bow.
They need to be scared. If Ron Paul runs independent, they know they have absolutely NO chance of winning the general election. Not that they do anyways if Ron Paul is not the nominee.
All I know is, if Ron Paul does not win the nomination...IT IS ON.

However, McCain is the only other Republican canidate that can win the general election. Romney is too much of a Republican for Independents to vote for him (given that 2/3 of independents are voting Democrat).
