[Video] Ron Paul on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno 9/26/13

Other than being quite, nothing.

Quiet?

I think she started the "ooooh" thing after the Rand running question that Ron ducked. I thought it was funny but she wasn't a wax figure either. Who didn't know that answer was a duck? Ron's not stupid.

He is killing it. Not backing down from his principles, as usual. I am not sure if Leno is being ingenuous or if he is trying to hack the ass kicker that is Ron. Leno just used a seatbelt analogy to justify state power, disregarding the fact that people like to be safe all on their lonesome.

It was a hack job gone wrong, nice try leno. Julia Louise Dreyfus was on too, acting like a typical rude prick.

girl. you crazy.

Stayed up to watch it. Wow, Ron killed it! I think he came off a lot more relaxed this time then he did during the campaign.

It's so weird seeing the good Doctor do interviews now. I have become so accustomed to Rand's style since Ron has largely disappeared from TV or does interviews on singular issues now. I love Rand but when I started watching it was very refreshing to get some of that famous Ron Paul bluntness. As the interview went on though, it stirred up memories of how he struggles to be persuasive in interview format. He doesn't work in soundbites or simple metaphors. Rand on the other hand is more than willing, and more importantly he is prepared, to dumb down the message and spoon feed it in small palatable bites to the Fox News viewership. Quite the contrast; love them both.

Mad props to Leno for how he has always treated Ron Paul. Although this invite was probably just for a ratings shock.

Awesome interview... so good to see him on Leno again.
Loved his answers, especially his reply about the seat belts, and the audience response was great. :D

Damn Ron was on a roll here. Almost like the Ingraham interview of 2007. Just nailed that FDR/Woody Wilson connection without missing a heartbeat.

His answers about gun-control and the expansion of federal programs under the FDR administration could have been articulated better, I think.

Ron has been doing the media circuit to promote his homeschooling book. Every time Ron has been on Leno, he was marketing a new book. 3 books, 3 appearances that coincide with the releases.

Well-said. Love them both too. :)

I am friendly with one of Leno's joke writers, and guess what -- this writer voted for RON PAUL!

And actually, you may have noticed that as Leno has been nearing cancellation he has taken a lot more shots at Obama. Which has helped my friends bank account, as only a few of Leno's writers have the fortitude to make fun of Fuhrer Barry.
