I don't think there was a big deal made of it here. I just didn't think he came across very well. Leno asked for him to give one line about each of the other candidates, and he didn't look very comfortable saying the things he said. Something about Bachmann hating Muslims was one of them. It looked to me like he was saying something somebody told him would be funny, and it just wasn't natural for him.

Hopefully, Jay asks him about the Syrian situation and Ron can take credit for moving the mindset away from interventionism thx to his messaging on this for years. Ron won't but maybe JL will give him kudos anyway.

Just got home from the taping. I originally wasn't going because none of us could get tickets this late notice but one of our people had connections to nbc so I was the first person she called to go. Taping went great. Ron got applause all by himself and didn't need us to cheerlead him. I think Julia Louis Dreyfus had a genuine curiosity with him. Jay and Ron didn't talk TOO MUCH during the breaks but it wasn't bad. At one of the breaks I wVed to Ron and he waved back so I was pretty content. We thought we were gonna meet him in the parking lot because we had drive in access but we were in another lot. Oh well still had fun!

The bunch wanted me to invite him to dinner but had no chance!
