[Video] Rand Paul on CNN w/ Erin Burnett discusses Hillary Clinton and Benghazi

This will be good

Rand is on a mission to vanquish all political opponents!

Rand needs to be a vicious attack dog and not be gentle -- she is after all his competition come 2016 if he wins the GOP nomination.

No need to be vicious man she's still well thought of remember.

He just needs to keep jabbing away and hopefully the press will pick up and run with the ball. They are the ones who will destroy her by focusing on her and her role not Rand. He just needs to point them in the right direction and use subtle jabs.

My wife has CNN on a lot and Erin Burnett seems to be pretty typical MSM mouthpiece*, at least on things like gun control, war on terror, etc. So she may be trying to poke holes in whatever Rand says or trying to make his position seem extreme. I can't wait to see Rand put the smackdown on any BS.

*I can't remember any specific examples but it seems that I often find myself thinking, as I'm on the computer listening to the TV out of the corner of my ear, she spouts typical MSM crap. (Maybe I've just become jaded or something.)

She's only "well thought of" because nobody has the balls to take her to the woodshed. Rubio kissed her ass during that hearing and then Rand smacked her.

Unless this Benghazi hearing/scandal becomes a national news sensation (totally up to the MSM), Hilary can survive this.

The only other way to take her down a few notches is if prominent leaders of the left/talking heads come out and shame her for this after it being common knowledge what she did or didn't do.

It's going to get much worse trust me :)

She's not going to survive if Boehner gives in and appoints the special committee which will haul her ass back to Congress to explain herself.

There are also other whistleblowers yet to come forward and the families of the dead are furious with her.

She is under tremendous pressure.

I wonder if these whistle-blowers will be questioned by the senate too

Whistleblowers and family members putting on pressure, maybe. Boehner and such? It will just be seen, as it already is by some, as Republicans going on a witch hunt.

With hunts are fun . There's lots to come out. Media will wake up eventually. There's already lots of good coverage.

Yes, you're right, there is coverage, but not from the outlets where it would hurt or make an impact. In fact, most of what I glimpse or see about Benghazi recently just comes from places likes Fox News or other right-leaning outlets. Take this with a grain of salt, but when The Washington Post says something akin to-

After all, if the accusations are gibberish, the neutral reporters will tend to ignore them — and then conservatives can go on conservative talk radio and Fox News and charge the rest of the press of ignoring these extremely important charges.

-then few would give it any attention. Now yes, it's an opinion blog, but the fact remains that for this to be as damaging as some believe it already is, the outlets that would normally be in the tank for the left have to take it seriously. Or they'd need a reason to care, because it seems as if four Americans live lost is no huge fuss to them.

The coverage will get better as more stuff comes out.

The media who are trying to protect her will have no choice soon...
