[Video] Rand Paul, Mike Lee, and Ted Cruz roundtable discussion at YAL convention 7/31/13

Great seeing the three of them together. Loved the back and forth and little side stories. Check the schedule: Massey & others tomorrow then, Dr. Ron Paul Friday night.

Cruz won me over tonight. Rand needs to work on being more presidential. Cruz has it down

He's clearly not as good of a speaker as Cruz, but I don't necessarily think that means that he doesn't look Presidential. It's just hard to beat Cruz in terms of charisma and speaking ability.

I didn't watch the first 10 minutes, but when I was watching Cruz was never asked any tough questions. He was mostly asked softball questions. He was never asked about any issues where there would be disagreement with the audience, such as his position on Iran and support for a limited intervention in Syria.

I didn't watch what they said tonight, but I agree with this. Rand is by far my favorite person in politics and I am closest to him on the issues. Cruz is much better at all the stylistic aspects. I think Cruz has more appeal to the typical tea party meathead.

Negative. They asked Cruz about his stance on foreign policy in the beginning of the roundtable. He said he did not support arming any of the rebels in Sryia. He also said he did not support any military involvement without a congressional declaration of war. Sounds legit to me

Wow. DId you watch tonight? Cruz is just more polished than Rand. He is just a better orator. Extremely gifted. Sorry that offends you

Agreed. He was a national debate champ. Rand is a good speaker though nonetheless.

I guess I missed that part, but that sounds good. I would still like for someone to ask Cruz what exactly he meant when he talked about going into Syria to locate and destroy their WMD's. I just think he should explain that in greater detail.
