[Video] Rand Paul announces candidacy for President of the United States - 4/7/15

Did you miss the last 2 times when the media repeatedly things like this to Ron?

Search my post history on here. I'm not paranoid or a conspiracy theorist, more like the opposite and I am the one who calls them out.

Liberal democrats dominate the media in the US and use it to further their agenda. This is indisputable fact.

Right, liberal this and not a conspiracy theorist that. Okay, sure. It's an indisputable fact that there are such things as technical difficulties.

Hey, I recognize that security guy from Ron's campaign. That's pretty neat.

I hear "Frankenstein" playing again. I wonder what's the story behind that choice of song?
(Was also played at CPAC)

...is this like a running trend for people to be so paranoid that networks would intentionally lose feeds and it wouldn't just be due to technical issues, inclement weather, or any range of reasons? Seriously, I worked at C-SPAN for a year or so and it's not unlikely to lose a feed during a live broadcast due to screw-ups, mess-ups, accidents, something overlooked by Tech Ops, weather, or so on. It's not unlikely that something can actually go wrong during a live broadcast.

You're not paranoid if they're really out to get you

One of Ron's bodyguards is now working for Rand. Pretty cool. They must trust those guys a lot.

Fox News is talking pretty favorably of Rand speech.

I agree, it makes you wonder when you take into consideration the past. When I saw two separate cameras shaking I started to wonder. If they were doing it for effect they went a little too far where it was getting annoying and may cause people to be distracted or tune out.

I just wanted to say how much I love Liberty audiences. Only at this kind of event would you get this reaction:

Rand: ... and personal responsibility.

Some guy in the crowd: *WHOOO!*

Rand just used two of Ron's most famous lines (borrow from China to give to Pakistan and instead of blowing up bridges in other countries, build them in ours), with a sly smirk and winking nod to his dad. Love it.

Faux News, a hater of his father, just said that this line was one of the highlights of his speech. So funny how the same content, just 8 and 4 year early and said by a so-called fringe candidate, was exactly that, fringe.

GO RON in 08, GO RON in 12, GO RAND 2016!

Since yesterday, Hillary has her staff on alert to expect her to make an announcement at any time. Could be this afternoon or tomorrow.

That would actually be ideal. It would immediately set up the comparisons between the two and put them both in the limelight together. For that reason, I doubt she'll announce until this dies down a little.

And now I am shutting off FOX, they already are bashing him. Calling him a long shot. Associating him right away to his father and the Libertarian Party. Called him in the middle of the pack according to their poll in likeability (he was 2nd behind the Huck). They made a puch for Scott Walker.

Knocking his choice of location of announcement, why did he choose Galts Hotel, blah blah. Mind you they said nothing about Cruz and all of his audience being forced to attend his announcement.

GOD I HATE FAUX!
