Although I'm not as excited by Rand as I was by Ron (perhaps also because i was younger and more naive) I will be awfully dissapointed if he's not the nominee.

This is the best chance we're going to get.

Oh I know that, but unfortunately this is what the set-in stone GOP voting block still uses as their news source. Too many people still treat FOX, Hannity, and O'Reilly as The Book of FOX, A Letter of St. Hannity to the Ephesians, and Yahweh O'Reilly.

Yeah this is basically how I feel too, including the part about being young and naive.
 
This is a great day. FOX loved him. It was a well delivered speech and I'm soooooooooooo happy he threw in foreign police issues since the FOX hawks were predicting he wouldn't go there. I feel like he really has a chance !!
 
C-SPAN said they will be re-airing Rand's announcement on regular television tonight at 8:00 PM ET.
 
Chris Matthews was just on MSNBC and was VERY positive toward Rand Paul and calling out the other republicans for being hawks and for nation building. He then went berserk (in a good way) saying that MSNBC needs to not show as free advertising those Rand Paul attack ads and Matthews went on to say that if they have to show the ads at least find out who is backing them and paying for them. Matthews was really stern about not showing the Rand Paul attack ads for free on MSNBC!
 
Daughter got sent home SICK!!! Caught the beginning and end on Cspan. Gotta wait for the tube.
