She used to get some respect for me, back when she did the indefinite detention expose on Obama, but then she started being invited to the White House and turned into a pure cheerleader with merely the slightest 'concern things don't go to far' if Obama does something absolutely unacceptable.

She's really not worth posting. Unfortunately because she once appeared to have integrity, people who liked her long term can be persuaded by her.

But here's the thing, Ron is Ron. All they have against him is stuff they make up, or smear so far beyond reality that the overall impression is a lie. When media is going to do that, the only people who will ignore it are those who are going to do their own research. And once they do, all this falls apart.

I also have to say this goes along with my glee at Ron being attacked by all those neoconservatives no one has thought of in years who darted out from under their rocks to attack him about his Peace and Prosperity Institute. The fading Trotskyites on the right fear his influence on the right, and the left spin cycle fears losing their control of allegiances on the left -- when their President is continuing everything Bush did and adding new, bad stuff like NDAA and going into multiple countries without ANY approval by congress.

I never never never trust a 'liberal' when they pretend to be 'defending civil liberties'. They are all socialists. They only use some classical liberal-originated positions and call themselves liberals to fool everyone. They really support totalitarianism. The enemy of your enemy is not your friend in this case, in fact I think they're a worse enemy than the neocons.

I disagree as a blanket matter, note the progressive financial guy who backed Ron just because things have gone so far and Ron is the only one addressing the real issues. Hamash did from Firedoglake. Walsh did. Robin K of Blue Republicans was a progressive writer for Huff Po. Some are 'liberals' SOMEWHAT for the welfare state but mostly because that is where they were taught anti wars of aggression and pro civil liberties live. It depends on WHY they consider themselves liberals, and what there hot buttons are.

Yeah, I agree. And I think the reason why the DHS is buying all of this ammunition isn't to use it against Americans, but to make ammunition more scarce and make the price of ammunition go through the roof. It's just a backdoor form of gun control.

Well I take back everything nice I ever said about her. I liked when she was covering the primary, because other than Ben Swann she seemed to be the only journalist on TV covering the fraudulent tactics of the GOP / RNC. And I liked her coverage of our military's illegal drone strikes.

This is exactly it. They fear losing a large portion of their base. They already lost some during the last election cycle. (Me included.) They must keep people from realizing the truth, that their party is just part of the same war machine working lockstep with Republicans intent on destroying our Constitution and civil liberties.

Well, yes, she (and all others on MSNBC) can always be counted on to cover any missteps of the GOP/RNC, just as Hannity and others on FOXNews can be counted on to cover missteps by the Dems. But when it comes to their own party
