But you also assume that being a victim of kidnapping (the draft) does make you responsible, and what you're doing is blaming the kidnapping victim?
Add to the kidnapping and societal pressure (most every draftees father was a WWII vet, media, church, community) "Stockholm Syndrome." I'm sure you're aware of this term.
In an earlier post you mentioned that you "know everything about the military." Without having served you can not know how the military conditions an individual. It is a brain wash. And as much as you would like to think you could stand up to it you will never know until you have participated in it.
I think you should sympathize a bit with what individuals that have lived through it are communicating to you. I understand that is a hard thing to do. You are 18 and the world is your oyster.
