Very Interesting Huck Forum thread

ok, so? they support huck. what do you want from them? we're not talking about sharp knifes here. These are people who read the bible and couldn't get past the first half and thump around all day about the second half, which they apparently never read. :)

I love how the one was talking about Paul supporters breaking the law and then went on to say that to be pro life you have to push it on the federal level and not leave it up to the states

because as far as I know the constitution basically makes it ILLEGAL for the Fed govt to regulate abortion

SO they would support a candidate that will break the law

Most huck supporters are so naive

Huckabee and McCain supporters are sad. They are both very weak individually and both are supporters of big government.

The fact of the matter is that we are not going to be converting many people to Ron Paul supporters at this juncture, at least those McCain and Huckabee supporters.

We just need to push forward with the message. Our message will not die out and we can not let it.
We need to re-educate the masses. Start with your friends, your family and neighbors, once you get them to understand then it will spread like a virus!!
The elections of 2010, 2012 and beyond are what we are shooting for.

We can't become complacent. Obama or Hillary will most likely become President and this might help us in terms of getting people on our side.

Huck wanted to CHANGE the Constitution into fitting his interpretation of God's ideals.

I used to like Huck supporters and Huck myself but now I think much less of them. First of all Ron Paul wants a constitutional amendment banning abortion. Right? Second they need to read his website and the issues section.
Third They kill free speech on that forum.

When you say supporters, you have to remember that people active on those forums are the more die-hard supporters, just like here.

The average person that votes for huckabee/mccain isn't going to be reachable through those forums. I'm sure people that voted for Huck are convertable as long as they're not religious zealots, but you won't find the convertable supporters at hucksarmy.

These are people who are fanatics for a theological fascist state, as much as they want to pay lip service to the constitution and traditional conservatism, they're full of crap and we're better off without them.

Huckabee people are not lost causes. A lot of current Ron Paul supporters used to be Pat Buchanan supporters, and they were drawn to Pat because he appealed to religious righters. In 1996, I was in the exact same situation that the Huckabee people are now. The first step to my conversion (which the Huckabee supporters are experiencing right now) was the realization that the Republican establishment was not my friend. After that, it became clear that the religious right, which is closely tied in with the Republican establishment, was not my friend either. Of course those are bitter pills to swallow, but once the Huckabee people come to realize these things, it will free them to explore other points of view, and I'm sure we will see a lot of them on our side the next time around. For me, the final conversion tool was articles written by devout Christian (but not "religious right") writers like Joseph Sobran and Chuck Baldwin. These writers showed me that it's possible to promote Christian conservative values without having to serve the Republican party.
Anyway, remember real conversions are not usually going to be won in leap years. The people who are calling us crazy now will have a lot of time to think and research over the next four years. Just keep being nice and feeding them the right materials!

i hate fundamentalist islamofascist terrorist's, who is the ass that came up with that phrase? I hate you who ever you are.

That's Michael Savage (real name: Michael Alan Weiner), the #1 neocon on the radio.

He used to be a hippie along with Lear and the LSD crowd.

..."His isolationist views & belief that if we just trade with & talk to other nations & be nice to them they will be nice to us is part of the Democratic platform. It is unrealistic & completely naive to even hope that fundamentalist Islamic terrorists (among many other groups) would ever be nice, no matter what we do. They want to assimilate or destroy us period."...

9/11 truth anyone? Without it human liberty is doomed.
This is the dam that needs to bust open. As long as the sheeple are brainwashed by the "War on Terror" fraud, they will continue to support the criminal wars and unconstitutional legislation like the Patriot Act. I think there is progress being made, though. Here is an email I received this morning:

Dear 9/11 Truth Activists and Friends,

Below, find some news, and then how to call for a new 9/11 investigation at your County Assembly.

1) Kucinich says he is not afraid to investigate 9/11: http://www.opednews.com/articles/genera_lex_jone_080222_kucinich_to_investig.htm

2) News and instructions for your County Assembly:

You will be pleased to know that a new investigation into the events of 9/11/01 is called for in the platform of the Mesa County Democratic Party, and as this resolution passed, the assembly cheered!

Eagle County passed two resolutions for a new 9/11 investigation!

In Denver County enough activists got resolutions passed at their precincts so that the call for a new investigation into 9/11 will automatically be voted on at the Denver County Assembly this Saturday, March 8. It is likely to pass.

We want the call for a new 9/11 investigation to go to the next level--to the Democratic State Platform! We want the other political parties to do the same! Then we can really hound our congresspersons and see if we can get them to strengthen their spines.

(The National Green Party has had this on their platform for several years.)

Whatever your party affiliation, the way to get this accomplished is for you to go to your County Assembly and get it passed in your county.

For the Democratic Party, if enough County Assemblies call for a new 9/11 investigation, this will automatically be added to the Colorado State Platform to be voted on at the State Convention and Assembly on May 16th in Colorado Springs.

Remember: Even if you do not succeed, this is a great way to educate people about this issue, and to keep chipping away at that taboo barrier. Take flyers to hand out to the delegates.

Here is a Resolution for a New Investigation into 9/11 that you may use: http://colorado911visibility.org/downloads/Resolution_9_11_Investigation_Revised2.pdf

Here are the steps to get a resolution passed by your own county assembly:

1) Call your County Party Headquarters (look this number up in the business white pages) and ask for the name and phone number of your County Platform Committee Chairperson. In case you cannot find your County Party Headquarters telephone number, call your State Party Headquarters to find this number.
Colorado Democratic Party: 303-623-4762
Colorado Republican Party: 303-758-3333
Colorado Libertarian Party: 303-837-9393

2) Call the Chairperson of your County Platform Committee and ask if the platform to be voted on at your County Assembly includes a call for a new 9/11 investigation.

3) If it does, and if you are a delegate or an alternate, be sure to attend the Assembly to speak and vote for this resolution.

4) If your county platform to be voted on does not include a call for a new 9/11 investigation, then ask your Chairperson what the rules are for getting this on the agenda for a vote at the Assembly. Also find out if you have to be a delegate or alternate to get into the venue.

If the rules are similar to those of Denver County, you will likely need to get a petition signed by 10% of the delegates and alternates present along with their precinct number, and present these signatures to the Chair of the Platform Committee before your resolution will be allowed a vote.

This is fun and adds some interest to the day at the Assembly. (I went through this procedure in 2004 at the Democratic Denver County Assembly and got a resolution for a new 9/11 invesigation passed by 98%!)

5) Ask your Chairperson what the next step is to get this onto your State Platform.

Call or email me for flyers or to let me know your experience with this. Good luck!

I knew nothing about him until his Meet the Press interview and I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The man is arrogant and makes no sense.
That was exactly the same way I knew Ron Paul, I have never heard about him before Meet the Press. And guess what? He captured my heart with his honesty and his message of freedom. Ron Paul was so humble how she got him as an arrogant?

I cannot believe how people could be that different

Someone started that rumor that the RP people steal yard sides and the Huck people have found reason to hate us ever since. O well. Let them vote for whoever it is they want to vote for.

My dad's Eisenhower signs regularly got stolen back in the 50s. I know RP signs have been stolen in my town. Huck's army thinks they are the only ones who have ever lost signs and they want to make a federal case out of it.

Its sad that as much as Ron Paul dumbs things down for these people, they still can't grasp it. And rather than educate themselves, they just keep drooling and scratching their heads, until Huckabee shows up to say "the bible is good and i think God is neat" so they can start clapping and jumping up and down.

Where I live, there were tons of ron paul signs and a few huckabee signs. One night, they all disappeared. I mean they were everywhere, and then they were all gone. A few days later the place was covered with mccain signs.

So what did we do? We started nailing our signs down, rather than sit and cry about it. Wah wah wah.

I don't like Huckabee Forums guys. They had a thread about how Ron Paul fans were supposedly stealing their signs in some kind of mass conspiracy. I've been reading ROn Paul Forums for a long time before I joined, and I remember how often RP supporters would complain about their signs being pulled. Happens to everyone.\

If anyone I would bet Democrats are stealing Republican signs, vice versa.

WE NEED A "CONSTITUION 101" MASS EDUCATION.............. NOW...!

HOW do we educate our neighbors on the pitifully poor shape of our Constitution, and how it's been sideswiped, and hightlight how with each session of Congress we loose more and more of our rights ??? Answers anyone ???

What do you think of a 2 day rally at your state capitol could accomplish... of course it would unite us, maybe even add a few to our numbers with a march. What about having a town hall the same weekend, inviting the new crop of politicians running for office to have a voice that day, so that WE may ask questions FREELY of them. Anyone see the possibilities ???

50 states holding 50 marches this summer....... with a real focus on educating our apathetic neighbors about the Constitution.
Better ideas anyone ???

I've been thinking about this a lot since last night. Im gonna start a new thread though so as to not hijack this one too much etc.

More proof that Sheeple LIKE to be Sheeple, and no amount of words or olive leaves will sway thier staunch sheepleness.

That being said, there do seem to be some rational folks over there in Hucks Army...hopefully they will see the benifit of a protest vote for Ron Paul...because he's still in it.
