Vapers of the Forums, unite! :D

I just got some GWAR German Chocolate Beefcake (3mg) it is soooooo good.. Also have some Unicorn Milk on the way from cutter, one of my friend's highly recommended it to me, it is a strawberry cream.. pretty expensive

Did they take the titanium dioxide out of the Unicorn Milk?

I used to vape 4 grams of dab a week. Almost cost me my job and I gained like 10lbs.

That's pretty rough, man. It took me nearly a week to get through half a gram of powdered wax in the vape and I was getting seriously lifted every night. I just sprinkled a bit on a regular bowl, and it always did the trick. How long did you last doing this for?

Like 3 weeks. Was using one of those glass dome vape pens. I've never even heard of powdered wax. One problem was the wax I was getting was pretty sub par. Another is IMO you get a way better, longer lasting high from 1-2 hits from a dab rig then a vape pen where you're just getting small amount at a time but lots of smoke. I decided to quit wax for awhile cuz it'd cost $200ish for the equipment to do it the way I want and I'd rather hit the rig once or twice a day and smoke bud the rest. Makes it not a necessity right now. You gotta make sacrifices to pay the bills :P

When I 1st started I'd get really stoned from the vape pen, but I have a tendency to wreck my tolerance quickly.

I just got in! I grabbed an Eleaf Istick 10 mini (due to the markup here and I needed a battery, I want to get a 50) and an Aspire Nautilus tank. My first juice choices were Apple Berry and Electric Koolaide and my local shop hooked me up with a free bottle and a half of juice for grabbing my new setup and took care of me the whole way through flavor and nicotine testing.
I have smoked for about 23 years (starting pretty young) and I tried the old e-cigarettes and they sucked but this thing is pretty awesome. I'm only about 30 hours in and it should be too early to tell if it has positive effects but I already can smell that "you smell like cigarettes!!!" smell so that is a good start, I think!

Your tastebuds open up next. That's pretty interesting. The lungs take a little longer but they open up too.

What did it for me and let me put the analogs down, was learning how to feel the nic on a vape. it feels different because it comes up slower. Like 3 minutes instead of 30 seconds, and there is a light (and not unpleasant) nausea-like feeling at the solar plexus. Once I learned how to feel the nic on the vape, I didn't need the analogs anymore.

So I hit it a lot for about 5 minutes, get to the 'pit' feeling and then for the rest of the day just hit it when I want to, which ends up not really being a huge lot. I'm down to a 3mg e-juice. Sometimes I'm mixing the 6mg back in though. Especially if I think it's going to be a stressful day.

I picked up a new tank that makes a LOT more vape, and that's then I had to switch from the 12mg nic to the 6mg nic

Due to my usage I was started off at 15mg nic but cut it back before I even left because of the intense nicotine buzz. I imagine that I am at a 10 - 12 level but I am already ready to go to a 8mg or 6mg level and see how that does. I kinda enjoy the fruity flavors and the "smoke" over the nicotine intake.

If you can get a small bottle of 3mg u might even be happy with that, anything over 6mg seems like way too much for these 'cloud' vaporizers... I can picture using the higher level liquids in those cheap throw away e cigs that don't produce much vapor, but pretty much everybody I know who has these big 'cloud' making vaporizers is at 3mg or less. So much less harsh, more good tasting vapor and I still get plenty buzzed...I can vape 6 but have to stop pretty quickly.

edit: especially goes for if you upgrade to a sub ohm - your 1.5 ohm nautilis is ok in the 3-6 range.

You probably have a tank that makes big clouds. It makes sense, I started on a tank that didn't make big clouds and I started with 24mg. Apparently the rule of thumb is if you take 24mg on a small cloud, you will want 12mg on a big cloud. I was at 12mg when I switched tanks and had to go to a 6mg pretty quick, so my experience confirms that small clouds to big clouds you want to cut your nic in half. So your starting out at 15 on a big cloud is like me starting at 30 on a small cloud. It was too much, and I went down to a 24 in a hurry, and then an 18 in about 4 days, a 12 a week after that, and then I went to the big tank and had to switch to the 6.

Then I picked up some kind of flu that settled in my chest and made my lungs super-sensitive and was having real trouble vaping. I ended up going back to analogs for 2 packs worth because they didn't leave me with coughing fits, and when I felt better, the 6mg was still fine. Most likely because I had learned to recognize and feel the 'uptake' in the 6mg and was fine with it.

I was actually a little surprised to learn that get a little sick in the lungs and the vape burns more than analogs. It also makes me want to be at 0 nic before I get another chest cold, or flu that settles in the chest, so I am not so compelled to fill the gap.

My new tank makes a big cloud, not nearly as big as the mods of course, but I've got a bottle of 3mg that seems to work pretty well. I was at 6mg before I got some kind of lung bug that made it hard to vape and easy to smoke. Tried the 3mg and I could....almost....hold it, certainly not in the quantities I'd need to feel the nic. My lungs are 50% recovered from that bug now, and I can hit the 3, but I have to take 1/3 a lung of air before hitting the button or I'll cough it up. :-/

I guess the good news is my lungs have recovered enough to go totally back to vape and not crave the analogs, and that when my lungs are back to 100% I will be just fine at a 3mg and may need to go down again.

Whenever I start getting a cough or have any type of lung issues, which is actually pretty rare, I take some Clear Lungs Extra Strength - it's a nice herbal blend you can get at amazon or many other places and it knocks it down usually in less than a day or a half a day. You'll get some coughing and phlem within 1-2 hours of taking it and next thing you know it's all gone.

Cigs probably feel easier on your lungs I would imagine because I usually draw cig smoke into my mouth, then take the cig out and like a carb on a pipe inhale what is mostly in my mouth and throat - it's easier to control how deep it goes into your lungs, you can inhale less smoke, mix more air in and keep it in the upper part of your lungs. To simulate that with a vape, you might try decreasing the air flow on your tank to minimal, take slower mouth hits and inhale from there like a normal cig. That's how I smoked my 12 mg ejuice on my first vape, I couldn't take it into my lungs at all so I was just getting some into my throat and getting the nic that way.

I think the tar helps coat the lungs and helps soothe them. I know if I have a coughing fit (It hasn't happened since the first week I quit.)and light a cigarette it would always help calm my lungs down.

It actually kills the scilia that help clean and protect your lungs. When you quit chain smoking cigarettes, the scilia begin activating and help try to clean your lungs out and it causes coughing. It is common for people switching from tobacco to vaping to experience coughing and it is common for those who smoke or vape cannabis and also smoke tobacco to cough because cannabis actually helps re-activate the scilia.

Coughing isn't bad in this case because it is helping clean your lungs and it means the scilia are functioning.

Alright, the market is starting to get competitive and ejuice is becoming practically free..

When I got into this about 6 months ago I was seeing up to $22 for 15ml bottles which comes out to $1.46/ml, in some cases plus shipping which you can split by ordering multiple bottles. This is still much cheaper than smoking cigarettes, especially if you have a lower end higher ohm vape pen.

To be fair, I was also getting 30ml bottles for about $10.99 which comes out to about $.37/ml, in some cases plus shipping which you can split by ordering multiple bottles.

A few months ago, https://www.thevapeshack808.com/ had a Memorial Day sale 20% off and I got my first 120ml bottle for $25 + $5 shipping, which comes out to $.25/ml or less if you order multiple bottles and split the shipping.

Now I want to introduce you to the newest eliquid sites I've found, which claim to use high quality ingredients yet target all the new vapers who are using sub ohm coils and eating up a lot of juice. This first place, in fact, only caries 15ml/l, 30ml/l and 60ml/l strength nicotine compared to sites that were carrying 30, 60, 120, 180 and 240 six months ago (and still exist..) and in some cases, places like virgin vapor which I respect their eliquid making techniques carried 60ml/l minimum which is above what I vape at!!!

So what is the price?? $20 for 120ml, free shipping.. You can even get a sample pack containing 9, yes, 9 15ml samples totally 135ml for $20, free shipping!!

That comes out to under $.17/ml!!! That is around 11% of the cost of many popular eliquids just 6 months ago and still less than half the cost of the popular 'bargain' eliquids!!

I was actually just referring to before I tried to quit, but I did cough alot of stuff up for a couple weeks not relly coughing fits then just comfortable productive coughing.

I have been buyin premium juices locally mostly 30ml for 20 bux mostly cause I can try them all in my rda instore and pick my favorites. I have been wanting to cut costs and am gonna try my hand at mixing and plan to use recipies from this site http://e-liquid-recipes.com/list?exclsingle=0&sort=score&direction=desc

My current setup is the SnowWolf 200watt with a Velocity rda in temp control at 75 watts and float from 420 to 550 degrees, the clouds and flavor are unbelieveable but man am I going through the juice. Had a set of 0.05 ohm nickel claptons in there the other day holy cow, I thought the 0.12 ohm nickle dual coils I have been doing were hardcore lol
