I just want to give llepard some well deserved attention. He did something very awesome in this thread.

Yes, the advertisement is booked and paid for. It is black and white, it will run in the USA Today nationwide edition, Section 1, News Section.

It supports RP and promotes the TeaParty. It will look great. A draft is in the works. When the draft is completed we will post it.

I have paid for the advertisement personally. We did not have time for a PAC.

It will run on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. The biggest travel day of the YEAR!

People can pass it around their Thanksgiving dinner tables.

Hopefully we will pick up some free publicity because it was paid for by an individual, not a PAC. I think this will make it the first of its kind and may be newsworthy. Any publicity is good publicity. We are pushing the boundary of the FEC laws. If the campaign were involved it would be illegal. I would love for this to become a First Amendment issue.

ALL OF IT WOULD BE MORE FREE PUBLICITY FOR RP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MuuuuuWaaaaHHaaaaaaaa........... we are gonna win and kick the MSM's you know what.

Wow, that's incredible. Thanks so much llepard, this will be awesome. Seriously, how do I buy you a virtual beer?

A single individual is doing this?

Gotta remember to put that it isn't affiliated with Ron Paul's campaign.

thank you...thank you...thank you...

i think you should start a chip-in here so we can at least reimburse you for part of the cost

I don't think we could say enough thank you's... Thank you times a million! =)

This is awesome, can't wait to see it!

Don't start anything without llepard's permission first. It sounds like he's going to challenge the FEC by doing this as an individual, and if it looks like he raised money for it, they may be able to bring the PAC rules into play.

CNN I-Report anyone?

Please, someone who can write and sound intelligent at the same time please.

WoW ! Wednesday before thanksgiving??? USA Today??? You gotta be kidding me.... this is insane... only Ron Paul grassroots could ever pull this off!!

*Raising my glass* for llepard. Thanks for the Sam Adams move in regards to his famous quote starting with : 'If ye love wealth greater than Liberty... may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.' This is gonna be Huge!

Awesome.

Again and again I am seeing amazing acts of dedication. It actually gets me a little choked up sometimes. The person doing this is a Patriot.

There really is Hope for America.

That is AMZING! TY! I can't wait to see the ad!!! :D

Just wondering - why the day before TG? (I have nothing against the idea, I am just curious).

The day before Thanksgiving is an absolutely excellent day for this. While I don't like the whole Christmas shopping spree crap that happens the day after Thanksgiving, getting ads in right around there is monsterous and ads are seen by literally millions of people (most are shopping for deals at WalMart but hey, they'll see the ad regardless)

thank you!

do you have a proof of the ad?

Maybe i can run the same ad in the local paper here on the same day. I've emailed the local paper and i could get a 3inch ad for about a hundred dollars.

It is brilliant timing, as lots of business travelers will be returning home --- and one of the places you're guaranteed to always find USA Today's is hotels and travel sites.
