No their media and representatives say the US is weak so they don't have to have only a civilian nuclear program.

They think they can just build up all the infrastructure to build nuclear weapons and then flip the switch whenever they want them.

Israel hit the people who make those decisions and that carry out detailed operations.

Regardless, it is the political class that is the representative body.
It is responsible for de-escalation. They must express a willingness to de-escalate. If they do not,
then the regime change operation will gain more approval than it currently has inside the U.S. and abroad.

After 20+ years of the US illegally invading and bombing their neighbors -- Iraq and Afghanistan -- as well as 30+ years of Israel constantly falsely claiming without any evidence that Iran is "weeks away from a nuclear bomb" (a ludicrous claim on its face), Iran has every good reason to fear and to prepare for an invasion from the US/Israel cabal. Which sequence is unfolding right this minute, proving that Iran was right to have prepared all these years.

The "Iran wants to attack Israel/America" narrative is as ludicrous as the accusation that a ballet dancer is supposedly beating up her bodybuilder boyfriend every night. How is that even physically possible?? It isn't, and the constant stream of baseless accusations are themselves just proof of premeditation for the war-crimes being committed right now by the US/Israel against Iran.

The moral basis on which knuckle-dragging talking-points like "If they attack us, they'll regret it" stand, is the idea that a nation has the right to defend itself from attack. Well, if we apply that moral principle consistently to this present situation, the only conclusion that can be drawn is that Iran has the right to defend itself from attack because Iran is guilty of exactly zero war-crimes, while the US/Israel are guilty of dozens or hundreds of war-crimes against Iran, by their own admission!
