Dropping a dozen massive-ordnance weapons on Iranian sites is an act of war. There was no legal justification for that action, or for any of Israel's actions. They're not even pretending anymore. Back in 2003, they had the decency to at least try to place a fig-leaf over their lies by sending Colin Powell to the UN. Now, the DNI says, "Yeah, we have no intelligence of nukes in Iran" but then POTUS says, "She's wrong" and drops bunker-buster bombs without even so much as an authorization from Congress. And while Kosovo was a disaster, it was absolutely nothing compared to the nuclear waste-spill of Afghanistan and Iraq after 2001, not to mention the imposition of domestic tyranny logically equivalent to martial law since the Patriot Act, MCA, NDAAs, etc. All of that Yankee-doodle-do BS about how America is land of the free and home of the brave and "they hate us for our freedoms" stopped being true circa 2001, if it ever was. That's on the DC Establishment, period, and the lion's share of the responsibility goes to the Republicans because they were in power when that all went down and instead of using their access to power to role-model the values of the Founders, they used it as an excuse to line their pockets with MIC bribes and go on a multi-decade military adventure in the ME that has cost trillions of American treasure and acres of American graves added to the cemetery at Arlington. Absolutely disgusting, my thoughts and feelings about the responsible parties can't even be put into words. Hell is real and it exists for a reason.

It is not in Iran's interests to give the US a cassus belli to enter the war. But the US has already entered the war and our track-record is 100% probability of invasion when the carriers are redirected. I expect to see US invasion of Iran -- boots on the ground -- within 2 weeks or less. We certainly already have embedded spec-ops in Iran, so we invaded them a long time ago, because that's how US military doctrine works. The main battle force is sure to shortly follow.

There's a possibility that the US missile strikes were the same thing. Trump gets to appear strong. Iran and the US both abandon the target sites ahead of time. Israel thinks we did something. The MIC gets to spend some money.
