US goes to war with Iran

It's been almost a week.

Things still take a little time. The two and a half dozen KC 135 aerial tankers only just got there. The Nimitz hasn't arrived yet, last I heard.

Was a time not even the British Empire could act within two months.

:::Cough cough::: Gulf of Tonkin INCIDENT :::cough cough:::

That's an interesting question to me. No, nobody has gone to jail for 9/11 as of yet. But the conversation about it has been extensive enough that the next big false flag will be met with a lot more skepticism. It might not produce the kneejerk reaction they'd be counting on.

It's all so perniciously asinine. They had the JCPOA in place and Trump tore it up. Just like he tore up treaties with Russia on arms control.

Good normal people died for nothing and we will spend billions more for the Israelis to rebuild, even IF Iran complies, you know the Israelis won't give up on their dreams of dividing up Iran into weaker mini-states for their own benefit, either... and since they control us, we will go along and nothing can be done.

This country needs a wakeup call. We're supposed to believe Trump will decide at the last minute, like he said today.
With a smirk a mile long but a tinge of sadness when he raised that giant flag, knowing he's a POS.

This is an unconsitutional farce. USA is a joke, so is Israel, a sick joke. I am disgusted. Have a good evening

It's been almost a week. I think if Trump was going to do it, he would have by now. I feel like all we are seeing is his usual shit talking online.

Trump Privately Approved Attack Plans For Iran But Has Withheld Final Order

The president is hoping that threatening to join Israel’s strikes will lead Tehran to abandon its nuclear program

WASHINGTON—President Trump told senior aides late Tuesday that he approved of attack plans for Iran, but was holding off on giving the final order to see if Tehran will abandon its nuclear program, three people familiar with the deliberations said.
Since his private instructions in the White House Situation Room to the military, Trump has disclosed publicly that an attack is an option.
“I have ideas on what to do but I haven’t made a final—I like to make the final decision one second before it’s due,” he told reporters Wednesday.
Trump is hoping that threatening to join Israel’s strikes on Iran, which continued for a sixth day, will compel Tehran to meet his demands, the people said. He acknowledged that a U.S. attack was under consideration but said he still may decide against it.
A senior White House official said multiple options remain on the table, and that Trump will continue to watch how the Israelis operate.
Israel began its airstrikes against Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, military leadership and other targets last week, dubbing the mission “Operation Rising Lion.” The Israeli military has struck more than 1,100 targets in Iran, including eight Iranian attack helicopters at a military base and 40 missile-infrastructure components in western Iran on Tuesday.
At the Pentagon, officials said the administration was considering options for conducting an attack on Iran but the president hasn’t given a final order. So far the U.S. has limited its military role to assisting Israel in defending against Iranian missiles and drones, officials say.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair Gen. Dan Caine attended a meeting at the White House this afternoon after testifying on Capitol Hill this morning, according to a defense official.
While planning for a potential strike has progressed, Trump might prefer to resolve the crisis diplomatically, people familiar with his thinking said.
“I may do it, I may not do it,” he also told reporters Wednesday, repeating his demand for Iran’s unconditional surrender: “The next week is going to be very big, maybe less than a week.”
Iran’s government said it wouldn’t negotiate under military threat and would retaliate if attacked.
“Iran does NOT negotiate under duress, shall NOT accept peace under duress, and certainly NOT with a has-been warmonger clinging to relevance,” it said in a statement issued by Iran’s United Nations Mission, apparently referring to Trump.
Iran’s well-defended Fordow enrichment facility is a possible U.S. target. Israel has yet to attack the facility, which is buried under a mountain and is generally considered by military experts to be out of reach of all but the most powerful bombs.
While Trump weighed his decision, the U.S. military continued to move forces to Europe and toward the Middle East, including tanker planes to refuel aircraft in flight, warships capable of shooting down ballistic missiles, an aircraft carrier battle group and advanced F-22 air-to-air fighters, which flew Wednesday to a base in Britain.
Hegseth said Wednesday the U.S. was strengthening its defenses in the Middle East, a major consideration since a U.S. strike against the Fordow facility could spur Tehran to lash out at American forces and bases in the region.
Asked during testimony to the Senate Armed Services Committee if he was considering military action against Iran, Hegseth said that any decisions would be made “at the presidential level” and that he couldn’t say anything further in a public forum.
The Pentagon was working “to ensure everything at our disposal is available to ensure maximum force protection against any contingency,” he added in response to another question about whether the U.S. was prepared to deal with potential drone attacks.
Russia warned the U.S. against military action. In a phone call with his Omani counterparts, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, the two diplomats urged the end of hostilities “as soon as possible” and criticized Israel’s military operation, the Russian foreign ministry said in a statement Wednesday.

Has-been warmonger? Shit, he's just getting started

Please rest. You are deeply unwell and consumed by media that reinforces your psychosis. According to your first post and "reliable source", US forces would be decimating Iran by now. You should edit your first post and label it FAKE NEWS and call Scott Horton an unreliable LIAR.

How do you know? Iran has banned filming and turned off their internet.

Do you got some sort of inside source with Starlink beaming you back video evidence that there arent Americans bombing Iran right now?

Can you tell by commercial satellite photos whether or not stuff is getting blown up by Israeli air strikes and not US airstrikes?

Do you have a source that the USA doesn't have stealth bombers and long range hypersonic weapons in Israel?

Well then, let's get'r done
FYI.
Ayatollah is not only the SL of the IRoI. (Iran). He is the most respected Marja of Shia alll around the world. Shia Islam is not as large as Sunni, but it's still about 12-13% of ALL Islam worldwide, with majorities in Iran, Iraq, Azerbaijan, and sizeable in Lebanon. Upwards of 90 million out of the world's estimated 180-230 million Shia are Iranians, but this leaves at least 100 million more who are not Iranian, but are very pissed off. Word has it that most Sunni are also very pissed off and starting to understand how the Imperialist Powers including the Zionist Entity used their intelligence agencies to inculcate strife between Sunni and Shia, and that the Zionist Entity is their common enemy, this includes Turks and Egyptians.

Khamenei is a descendant of the Fourth Imam of Shia Islam, Ali ibn Husayn Zayn al-Abidin (Imam Sajjad), a great-grandson of Mohammad, and therefore a descendant of the Islamic prophet Mohammad through his son Hussain Asghar, a son of Imam Sajjad.

There is no doubt if this doesn't get solved very quickly with no regime change, Trump, Bibi and the neocons and certain Zionists are going to be targeted for assassination worldwide, for many years to come, they cannot possibly expect to live normally anymore. If the Ayatollah is killed, there will be major, very personal retribution, even if his gov is overthrown, it will be constant war inside Iran forever. These people are never going to quit or stop. They will hunt down their targets all around the world. Holy War. Those who played roles in such a deed will be hunted down like dogs.

I mean, would they be willing to do that for us, without having to bomb them?

I wouldn't venture a guess unless I knew what sort of support the US government giving Israel from the bases in the region. We might, however, see the countries where they're based saying, don't do this or that from our soil or we will attack you ourselves. The carriers aren't so limited, but they are limited in capacity and the ability to rearm.

It's a loaded situation with a lot of potential players. And the most ironic part is, Israel is doing it to "stop Iran from getting nukes", but they know better than I how likely it is that any one of three nuke-armed countries might retaliate if they nuke Iran. Any of them could have already sent Iran nukes just in case.

So you're saying that Russia could give Iran nukes? That's an interesting idea, I didn't even think about that.

My philosophy has always been that as technology improves, it gets easier to build a nuke. So it gets harder to prevent countries from getting nukes to the point where it becomes impossible. So it's a losing game trying to prevent nukes because you have to have more and more control over whichever country you're trying to keep from getting the nuke.
