Likely a combination of outbound packet filtering, GNSS spoof drift, and uplink kill-switches on backbone routes. Tehran may have initiated a controlled blackout, but given the simultaneity with Trump’s sky-control boast and UK deployment, this looks prepped.
You don’t just jam comms; you isolate nodes, blind fallback lines, and disrupt C2 latency to create conditions for kinetic entry.
If this blackout holds, it suggests either:
a) cyber payloads are actively degrading routers and DNS relays, or
b) something bigger is imminent, missile phase, insertion, or EMP strike, and IRGC wants no signal leakage.

Today there are rumours/cynical expectations that the USS Nimitz which is scheduled for decomission within months
will be taken out in a false flag operation similar to the USS Cole. Dick Cheney ran that and he's still alive.
They can blow it up and say Iran did it.
Something like that couldn't be pulled off in today's world. There are too many satellites and too much surveilance. Plus Iran is not Al Queda, they would deny it.
