US bombs "narco-terrorist" boats in Caribbean, Pacific

Did they release a video I want to see what my tax dollars paid for

I want to see boat go boom

Everything comes down to money so I tried to look it up:

14 warships, aircraft, bombs, fuel, personnel, equipment maintenance, etc...... the $cost$ to U.S. taxpayers is not publicly available.

My favorite part is that they just returned the survivors to their countries.

So much for pretending that they're dangerous terrorists I guess

My buddy in the Forces sent me this (sorry, best I could do):

Looks like fun, I've used old cars for target practice but I've never used a perfectly functioning boat before

I see why they use guided missiles though, it's cus their 50 cal aim sucks

US military strikes 4 boats in the Pacific, killing 14, in ramp-up of campaign against alleged drug trafficking

On the morning tide of 27OCT2025, the Pentagon’s gallant armada, Carrier Strike Group 12 (consisting of the aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford and four guided missile destroyers), did unleash a feat so mythic it demands embroidery on the national quilt: a single strike, two fishing boats, fourteen souls, one survivor, and zero judicial review. The Secretary of Defense, Sir Pete of Hegseth, proclaimed the deed with the solemnity of a bard recounting dragon-slayings - though the dragons were wooden, the waters international, and the combatants designated by secret scroll.

“Two boats at once,” he declared, as if recounting the tale of the tailor who slew seven with one blow - though in that fable, the slain were flies, and the tailor stitched satire into legend. Here, the stitching is classified.

The Ballad of the Narco-Knights:
“Eight aboard the first, four on the second, three on the third,” sang the Defense Ministry’s scroll. Arithmetic as invocation. Geography as absolution. Intelligence as oracle.

The survivor, now a diplomatic riddle, floats between Mexico’s Navy and America’s legal fog, a lone witness to the Monday miracle: the strike that multitasked.

In the Court of Maritime Valor: Let it be known that on this day, the United States did not merely strike boats - it struck a pose. A pose of righteous simultaneity. A pose of mythic escalation. A pose worthy of tapestry, if not treaty.

And so the folk refrain begins:
“Two boats with one blow!” cried the knight.
“Were they flies?” asked the scribe.
“No,” said the wind. “They were vessels of fate.”

US Bombs Four Alleged Drug Boats in the Eastern Pacific, Killing 14

by Dave DeCamp
October 28, 2025

The US military bombed a total of four alleged drug boats in the Eastern Pacific Ocean on Monday, US War Secretary Pete Hegseth has announced.

The series of attacks marks the first time that the US has bombed multiple boats in one day, and it brings the total number of vessels the US has struck since the campaign started on September 2 to 14, including eight that were hit in the Caribbean near Venezuela and six targeted in the Eastern Pacific.

As usual, Hegseth offered no evidence to back up the claim that the boats were carrying drugs and provided no information about the people who were killed, whom he labeled “narco-terrorists,” a term the Trump administration is using to justify the extrajudicial executions for an alleged crime that doesn’t receive the death penalty in the United States.

They got two boats with one missile which is pretty cost efficient use of government resources.

And you can tell they are drug boats by the way they explode when the missile hits them

There's a downside to not knowing whom you murder in cold blood over and over again.

You're not going to know who killed your wife when she was shopping.

I don't see Trump getting his war with Venezuela. Nobody else is for it.

Its not like we have a choice. We can't let Venezuela threaten the United States without paying a cost.

I know Peurto Rico isn't an incorporated territory but we aren't going to let it get attacked or forgive a country that openly threatens Peurto Rico on the world stage.

There isn't a balance of power if other nations can threaten us or attack us and we cannot threaten them or attack them.

That's called vassalation.

He's kind of already got it. It's a complete Naval blockade. The only thing he hasn't done is a land invasion or air to ground strikes. Air to sea strikes are already happening.

Same can be said for the other wars that we started/got involved in. That didn't stop the MIC one bit.
