URGENT * DEADLINE 7/28 MIDNIGHT* Grassroots Talent Needed for FULL PAGE Iowa ad

I really like this too. The small white writing is just a tad hard to read with the light highlight on grey, I don't know if something can be done there? Writing the quotes in a darker grey rather than white maybe? It is beautiful, as is, though.

I like this one the best because it is so Iowa specific, in showing other GOP members in Iowa will be supporting Ron Paul and why. The other ads are excellent too, but they can be saved for national ads, they can be used later. My 2 cents.

IDEA! Could we adapt this design into a door hanger that could promote the straw poll and the For Liberty movie showing in Iowa? I know of no better way to reach a mass amount of people for an event and if the door hanger looks nice, many will take it in the house and put it on the table or up on the fridge...
Door hangers are an amazing way to hit up a community with a quickly organized event.
I believe that wherever Dr. Paul travels, the local Meetup and/or campaign supporters ought
to hit up the neighborhoods with door hangers (like these we used last year at IU)

Not perfect, but we pumped these out really quickly (based on our poster) and we had the biggest audience of college students for Ron Paul of all time!
*and it was fairly cheep: http://www.printplace.com/printing/door-hanger.aspx
Use glossy finish which is semi-weather proof.

Concerning ad submission.. What is the process? Simply posting an ad in this thread, PM'ing the ad to the OP, or e-mail to RPAC or to someone else?

I'm increasingly impressed with each sub, I want to make sure RPAC receives them for consideration, and no one is left out because they posted here, but didn't follow up with the right person. Thanks! Good work all!!

OK, I feel the need to explain as best I can how this process is going to play out in the end. The pics from here will be sent to RPAC and they will decide which one is
to be used. Apparently there is another submission but not here in the forums. I am waiting to find out about that.

I think we ought to continue with the submissions - ideas and suggestions etc. - for the several that seem to dominate.

What we need to do I think is to whittle it down and fine tune the several that are popping up the most frequently cuz it does seem like there are definitely a few
that stand out.

I can drag and drop them to the desktop although I cannot attach them. I need to figure out how to use filezilla, imgur or blogspot to upload them here.

I know the copy appears small, but its done in 11 and 12 point type, which is very generous size for easy reading.. keep in mind it appears small on the graphic - but I really like the wording. It hits on a lot of points... what do you all think?

All kinds of wonderful ideas. I like this one the best.

But, instead of just "Principle" at the top, I would put Principle o Integrity o Solutions.

I would also choose a much more flattering picture of Dr. Paul. One that does not show every single line in his face. We are going to be combating the perception that he is too old. We do not need to encourage that perception.

One other thing came to mind. Does anyone know if any Iowa Christian leader has endorsed Ron Paul? Because if he/she has, it would be wonderful to quote them in this ad. We have these, but they are not nearly as powerful as someone local. http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showth...th-Coalition&p=3330596&viewfull=1#post3330596

Note: Are these Republican leaders (sans Reagan) that we are quoting in this ad, new to the Republican party and their positions, or have they been in place for awhile? I'm mainly talking about Cory here. If we had an Iowa religious leader who endorsed Paul, I would replace Cory's endorsement with his.

I like it to:) I hope somehow this one is picked!! If the pac doesn't pick this one? we can always run a mini pac to run that ad in iowa newspapers and possibly church papers?? just an idea.

Ok, I just drag and dropped to the desktop 8 ads that have been posted here - up thru post #306.

Do you all think we have enough now to choose from and fine tune? I don't if adding more designs will be helpful at this point.

Now I need to - I guess - as Michael suggested - start a thread just for the submissions. If I do that could someone here please upload them to the thread?

I think if sunny just starts the thread, and then the designers post their submissions we will be golden...

Planning on updating my first design and whipping up another one that has a different style than the ones presented so far when I get home from work tonight. The deadline is not technically until Friday but the PAC can probably use all the time it can to debate on which design to use for the Ad. So I agree that we need to try and refine them as quickly as we can.

yes, but I do have two suggestions (though I do not want to clutter this thread).

Not sure how well this will play in Iowa.

1. Ron Paul is the only presidential candidate running with military duty/experience (as a bullet point).
2. Have that pic of him and ronald reagan chatting it up (small image above the copy) or a picture of him in military uniform.

It is Storey county. Typing this from the YAL convention. Just a thought, basedon what I am learning.

Knowing you audience is key. Period. Plenty of things appeal to us, but we are already voting for Dr. Paul anyway. Know your audience.

Simple will be better. In my opinion based on this training. The 3 tiered approach earlier in this thread will be best. Faith absolutely should be involved for Iowa. Please include it.
