UPDATE: Lawyers for Ron Paul Conference Call 9PMEST WILL be recorded and posted #inside

I don't know what their goal is. Why would they tell me or you what their goal is? "Maybe, just MAYBE, they don't want the Romney campaign to know what their goal is so they don't tell all the knuckleheads out here in forumville what it is...Doug Wead". That's what Doug Wead said though I am taking liberty with the wording of his statement.

RonPaulTribune: Doug Wead and Jeremy Richter Interview About Ron Paul And Campaign

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qF0c6K2LQm8

You can quote Doug Wead, I will quote Ron Paul "The purpose of government is to protect the secrecy and the privacy of all individuals, not the secrecy of government." Dr. Paul is still a congressman running for a public office.

If there was one thing that Dr. Paul would have benefited from by keeping secret would have been the delegate strategy, but he announced it for the world to hear, repeatedly. And name one time that Dr. Paul withheld information.

Got things to do so here's my last post in this thread for awhile:

"There's a sucker born every minute"

I just hope that all this stuff doesn't prevent Ron from getting an unedited speach at the convention.

He didn't have a speech to lose. :(

sure he does. Five states in nomination EITHER as VP or Pres get that. There is LITTLE question he has the support for Pres nomination, for VP, it is pretty sure thing.

LA, IA, ME, MN, and NV. If you count states where Ron has delegates not supporting him, there are more states where a plurality of physical people will support Ron over Romney. That was an area where the attorneys simply don't seem to have all the facts. The vote on the first ballot is not the same as putting something into nomination, unless state rules say it is, and in Nevada they don't. Ron HAS the speech as I see it and I have no idea why the campaign doesn't make that clear, but maybe they have a reason.

When did it become certain they were going to seat all the LA RP delegates - isn't that a ???

Add - Anyway, an unedited speech is great (though frankly, I just don't see that) but the nomination is better!

I want to find video of whatever debate that was from... Want to see what McCain was saying that caused the RP head shaking. LOL

McCain said that "Ron's sort of isolationism led to the rise of Hitler" (paraphrase)

That is LE's avatar.

@sailingway I think that GOP and Mitts campaign is contesting Rons delegates in most of those states...so both ways dont guarantee anything.... Do the right thing and that is it.

I wasn't raising it as an objection to the suit, I am still on the fence about that and really hope it is a good thing. I was more saying the attorneys don't seem aware of all the facts. Mass won't be a majority RP in any event, we got a supermajority of the CD delegates, but all those picked by the allocation committee went to Romney. On the other hand they seem NOT to be aware that unless the credentials committee are squirrelly, which they well may be, Ron SHOULD have the delegates in 5 states. At least.

Our hopes are pinned on / How they crush our hope

5 states plurality / Disqualify delegations, and reduce to below 5 states

Rule 38 / They change the Rule

Rule 15 / They change the Rule

Rule 11 / They change the Rule

The judge rules all delegates are unbound
and issues an injunction against the GOP / They try anything and they go to jail for 5 years

So, when playing this game of chess, we want to go for the checkmate.

people who think we actually have a say in who is president are delusional. its all a show.
well, until someone reveals the men behind the curtain.

I'm starting to believe this more and more. And I'm also starting to believe more and more that if enough people wake up and realize this, then we can change it. Because that isn't how it's supposed to be.

I think this lawsuit is a good step in that direction. Even if RP doesn't get the nomination, I really hope this lawsuit gets some coverage by the time it's done, because I think the average person has no clue the corruption that goes on in the election process. 8 or 9 months ago I was one of those people who had no clue!!

Time to start changing all that. I reject the bullshit corruption and I reject the idea that nobody can do anything about it.

Ah, thank you, I was wondering that. I suppose I don't need to shake my head at McCain's ridiculous statement... I'm sure RP explained it away much better than I ever could.

Can someone give a Cliff Notes version of the conference call? Did the questions get answered about the twitter person and other questions posed in this and other threads? Or was it really just one guy rambling on for hours?
