DEVELOPING: At least five people have been stabbed inside a building at Lone Star College’s Cy-Fair Campus in Texas, an EMS spokesman says.

The Cy-Fair EMS spokesman told Fox 26 News that the stabbings occurred in the Health Science Center building. One of the victims was flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital, while two others were transported by ambulance to another hospital.

An alert message on the Lone Star College System’s website warned faculty and staff to stay in a secure location until the incident is resolved. It said one of two suspects is armed and at large.

I wonder how quickly that "1 at large" gets forgotten and the story becomes a lone knifeman

And what would be gained by making a knife attack conspiracy? Isnt it more likely that the press would want as many stabbers to be arrested so they can say you need X amount of attackers to hurt only a dozen people. This makes an even better case for gun control if you can prove many attackers were required unlike in gun attackers where if your goal is to ban guns, you will want to minimize the number of attackers required

Since nobody I ever heard of this proposing a knife ban, I would say the 2nd attack will be aggressively pursued by the police and the media will be very quick to report once they have their man/woman but most likely a man

Guns are for wimps. Just takes a few ounces of pressure and you don't even have to see what you did. You can safely and easily kill from a distance. A real man uses a knife- forces you to get up close and personal and incur possible risk of harm to yourself. Want to take it to the next level? Do it by hand- no weapons. Guns become the weapon of choice because they are easy. It is different when you have to deal with your victim face to face.

Stabbing injures several on Lone Star College Cy-Fair campus

The violence broke out at about 11:20am at the rear of the Health Sciences Building on the Cy-Fair campus on Barker Cypress Road. The Harris County Sheriff's Department confirms 14 victims, and one suspect in custody. There had been reports of a second suspect, but HCSO now confirms they believe the suspect acted alone and they are ending the search for any further suspects.
