That wouldn't work. There exists a world outside the internet. People can actually go to Uvalde and meet the grieving parents and the kids who are still alive and have spent several years attending that school alongside those who died.

I think Trump genuinely does support tariffs. There's very little he actually believes without needing someone else to give him a script. But I think that's one thing he does.

And I think that among those who really supported him, and considered him as good as or better than Rand (and in some cases I've seen here, it sure seemed like people liked him better than Ron too), it's always people who support tariffs as well.

I'm a firm supporter of protective tariffs and I wrote in Ron Paul in 2016 against Trump.

I voted Trump in 2020 for two reasons:

A - He delivered on some key issues I support, in particular easing elimination or modifying regulations and fatwas on energy production that benefitted me personally. An executive branch filled to the brim with Marxist maggots now writing policy is the main reason you're paying $6 gallon for gas.

B - Those self same Marxist maggots...I knew how bad this administration would be...and this is just the start.

The Uvalde Police Department and the Uvalde Independent School District police force are no longer cooperating with the Texas Department of Public Safety's investigation into the massacre at Robb Elementary School and the state's review of the law enforcement response, multiple law enforcement sources tell ABC News.

The Uvalde police chief and a spokesperson for the Uvalde Independent School District did not immediately respond to requests for comment from ABC News.

According to sources, the decision to stop cooperating occurred soon after the director of DPS, Col. Steven McCraw, held a news conference Friday during which he said the delayed police entry into the classroom was "the wrong decision" and contrary to protocol.

Reached by ABC News, a spokesperson for the Texas Department of Public Safety said, "The Uvalde Police Department and Uvalde CISD Police have been cooperating with investigators. The chief of the Uvalde CISD Police provided an initial interview but has not responded to a request for a follow-up interview with the Texas Rangers that was made two days ago."

Last Tuesday's attack, one of the worst school shootings in U.S. history, left 19 children and two adults dead.

I believe the reporting is that the entrance door to the school that normally auto locks that was said to be propped open by a teacher was not propped open, and for whatever reason the auto locking mechanism was disabled, or not working.

The door to the classroom that was allegedly locked simply required a skeleton key from one of the janitors. You would think if they were trying to get into a locked classroom, they would have made it a priority to get a key..

Of course I don't assume any reporting to be correct.

During a campaign event on May 21, Texas Democrat gubernatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke expressed his belief that Americans who own AR-15s should not be able to keep them.

On May 31, FOX News highlighted the comments as part O’Rourke’s ongoing effort against the guns.

In the comments, O’Rourke stressed his position that no one should be able “to purchase an AR-15 or AK-47,” and added, “I don’t think that the people who have them right now in civilian use should be able to keep them.”
 
Police officers surrounding the school and not going in to confront the shooter is the equivalent of fire fighters surrounding the perimeter of a burning building and not even attempt to put the blaze out.

Regardless of the scale of this tragedy and regardless of the psychological violence that FAKE News propaganda is doing to this country, this is a political event and must be analyzed in that light.
