Syria accepts US and Russia-brokered ceasefire 'if fight against terrorists continues' - media

The Syrian government has accepted the terms of a ceasefire deal announced by the US and Russia, a Foreign Ministry source said, as cited by Sana news agency. But Damascus wants the fight against terrorists such as Islamic State to continue nonetheless.
The source added that Syrian authorities would coordinate with Russia to decide which groups and areas would be included in the "cessation of hostilities" plan.

Syria said that it was important to seal the borders and halt foreign support for armed groups, as well as to prevent "these organizations from strengthening their capabilities or changing their positions, in order to avoid… wrecking this agreement," according to the source.

Damascus announced "its acceptance of a halt to combat operations on the basis of continuing military efforts to combat terrorism – against Daesh [an Arabic acronym for Islamic State], the Nusra Front, and the other terrorist organizations linked to it and to Al Qaeda, according to the Russian-American announcement," Sana wrote, Reuters reported.

SANA (Syrian Arab News Agency) out of Damascus is NOT exactly getting it right... Reuters probably knows it.
It is describing the 'old' phrasing in Res. 2254 which Kerry and the slime weasels PURPOSELY changed/left out in the Cessation agmnt.

2 dominant views of this ceasefire:

(1) All it does is give the FSA and others time to rearm, regroup and reposition themselves, while others are flatout admitting they won't even respect it in the first place.
Aside that, the SAA is in the middle of a gradual op to free Aleppo, northern Latakia, southern Daraa and the Idlib countryside... So, are they just supposed to stop? Right at the moment they were about to achieve their goals?
I don't see any reason why it would be advantageous for the Russians & Syria to cut the pressure they have been building over the past several months.

(2) In my opinion the agreement is aimed to expose false narrative about "moderate rebels".
It's already uncovered some so-called FSA groups that refused to accept the agreement because al-Nusra is not a part of it.
It will clearly show who is interested in political solution and how false the 'moderate rebels' storyline was
as pushed by MSM on order by TPTB.
I think it is brilliant move that will clearly determine legitimate targets.

There is no such thing as national sovereignty according to Washington. Washington will not tolerate any independence by any nation. There are only two options under the Washington's world view: A) be Washington's puppet and go along with whatever Washington commands, or B) be destroyed by Washington (whether overtly by bombs and invasions (Serbia, Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq), or covertly by CIA funded "regime change", manufactured opposition and/or terrorist groups, sanctions,economic warfare etc. (Iran, Georgia, Ukraine, Syria).

Washington is the greatest threat to the Unites States, the American people, the Constitution, the economy, free trade, civil rights, liberty, prosperity, peace.
