Truth Bomb Day: What Lie do We Attack?

What misconception should we attack?

  • The unemployment rate is approx. 8%

    Votes: 16 38.1%
  • Only one of the major party candidates could be elected president

    Votes: 13 31.0%
  • Something else and I'll tell you why

    Votes: 9 21.4%
  • None of the above--Truth Bomb Days are a dumb idea

    Votes: 4 9.5%

  • Total voters
    42
  • Poll closed .
You can create multiple accounts, but they can shut them down at any time if they figure it out. I have seen it happen (nephew) and they expressly tell you that they will if they catch you.

Well, I mean, you have your main account, and you can create a page, too, and they're linked. And it's not a secret to facebook. A person in a band, and their band page.

A whole lot of people here don't like using facebook, but I agree it should be incorporated as a tool for those who do.

The list of things to do, various methods to communciate our idea is long. I think the facebook part is a very important part. But it's just a part. There are clearly a lot of people who do use facebook.

A ton, I agree. I was just noting the barrier to those who don't, and I agree there will be a lot of other avenues.

What misconception should we attack?

It would take some digging -but..

I'd like to see a simple step by step of how government gauged things in the 70's compared to the 80's, 90's etc.

Our rose colored glasses have become thicker and thicker over the years.

Inflation, employment, what have you.

A stick in the eye used to be painful, these days government would have you believe it's like having ice cream.

But the only way to prove that is to entice a very large number of people to vote for an 'unapproved choice' so we can all see what happens.

So basically what you're suggesting is campaigning for a third party candidate... good luck with that. I think we all know how that will work out.

I'm not sure that people are talking about winning. A win would be where the 3rd parties combined is greater than the victory margin in a state.

Just when I thought we had it all settled:

http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showth...n-Notorious-Electronic-Voting-Machine-Company

The Romney family is invested (though somewhat indirectly) in a major player in the electronic voting machine industry. This is certainly not a non-partisan topic. It could throw the election if we can and do attack it successfully. But it seems to me a truth that needs exposure.

Comments?
Richard Gilbert, that lawsuit attorney tweeted that fora long time and no one seemed to care. Now Obama's folks are tweeting it multiple times an hour.

It is definitely good information, but some people were concerned we seemed to be coming down too much on one side even posting unemployment numbers.

I think 'vote against the Goldman Sachs candidates' is a good meme, but I'm not sure we gain credibility for our reality bombs if we say, this late in the game, that one of the others could win. They mostly don't have electors, for one thing.

I agree with this. The truth bombs are a great idea but credibility is key, and choosing the right topics is key. A third party meme would stink right now with emotions running high prior to the elections. I like the idea of attacking lies and bringing forth truth, but don't like the idea of endorsing (or seeming to endorse) a particular political strategy.
