coffee said he'd do video -- at least for the right thing, the voting for 'other' was being discussed at that time. We need more for video, though.
I don't 100% understand cat wrangler but it sounds kind of like what we did notifying meetups and if so, I'm up for that.
I'm for building coalitions...where are we directing them to?
I want to start now.
WAR ROOM!: Who's in?
When can we get that sub forum?
What skills do people have here? We need:
Programmers
Web developers
Webmasters
People that can put together YouTubes
Someone that can master an audio CD
Artists
Graphic Artists
For starters...
We need to swell our ranks and possibly build coalitions. That means finding and connecting with former supporters that have drifted away or in their own "compartment" - say a Meetup and outside the communication stream.
The best way to do this is set up a survey monkey and then spread the word by contacting every RP supporter we can find and direct them toward that survey.
Something we did before was called "Cat Wrangler". We got Volunteers and directed them to a web site. They would be given 3 Meetup Groups each to contact and report back on if they were able to do that. Defunct group, private group, post successful. I've contacted the person that did the tech on that and asked him if he was willing to do that again. If not, any programmers here willing to implement that kind of a system? It can be used to post to Facebook, Yahoo, tweet, letters to the editor, etc.
As to coalitions - maybe reach out to Daily Koas, the 420 folks, Anonymous, the LP, Naders people, etc, etc, etc.
thoughts?

I think that most, or at least many, people recognize that both candidates suck, but the people voting for Romney are thinking, "He has to be better than that communist Obama!"
Anyone want to go out on a limb and make a series of predictions about the presidencies of both men that would be useable in a 2016 election as well as be informational for this election?

Either way, you get more war and bigger government

Sounds like a Ron thing....
I'm of the opinion that sharing facebook pictures is a key way to go. What we always were good at was winning online polls. Sharing a Facebook picture is easy and effective, and it's something that the least enthusiastic people can participate in.
So, if someone is building a website, perhaps a section that you can just go, look at pictures, and share the ones you want to share.
My first thought, also...too bad we can't get Ron in on this to write up something we can use.
He might have already done it if we look at his interviews. We could check in any event. but if we asked him, he'd answer.
How do I ask him? Does he have an email that I could write him and ask a few questions?
WE get someone going to one of his rallies, or who lives in his district and bike rides, to ask? We could have asked before yesterday, if we had thought of it by then.
But yeah, you could email his office, but he won't say for sure he'll get back if you are out of his district. He often has, though.
Or, drive up to DC when they get back in session... go to his office, with a list of questions...
True that. The guy is selling his condo and closing three offices, so might be a bit busy, but he has a reputation for speaking to people whenever he can.
I agree, photos are powerful, and quick...they have to be done right. I AM learning photoshop, not that great with it... but I can splice/edit existing pictures decently well:

This "Post Ron Paul Interview" video has some good stuff in it for a video (don't know where the Ron Paul Interview went to).

But Ron has been pushing the "One Party"/"Goldman-Sachs" meme
