Trump Slams 'Crazy' Rand Paul Over Opposition To Monster Debt Increase In 'BBB'

"Moments after Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) told CNBC that he could not vote to raise the debt limit by ANOTHER $5 Trillion as contained in the "Big Beautiful Bill" (BBB), President Trump took to his social media to hammer the Senator not once but TWICE. Will Trump be able to strong-arm Sen. Paul and the few of his colleagues who oppose the debt increase? Also today: Ukraine hits the Kerch Bridge again...but does it matter?"

Gee, he seems no longer concerned with suckering small government conservatives into voting for him.

When Rand Paul starts promoting the Fair Share Balanced Budget Amendment I'll believe he is sincere in wanting to put a stop to increasing the national debt, year after year, after year.

The old saying goes, if you are not part of a solution, you are part of the problem.

You sound exactly like those progs who think if you don't like the federal ED you don't want children educated.

Rand Paul's ideas are not popular and have no chance of being enacted. And for all the autistic spergs here, this simple reality check is not a critique of his ideas. Rand should be doing everything in how power to get Trump a big win, even if it means compromising.

Well, Trump certainly supports no tax on tips or overtime, which is in harmony with Section 1 of the Fair Share Balanced Budget Amendment
“SECTION 1. The Sixteenth Amendment is hereby repealed and Congress is henceforth forbidden to lay any tax or burden calculated from profits, gains, sales, interest, salaries, wages, tips, inheritances or any other lawfully realized money.

NOTE: these words would return us to our Constitution’s original tax plan as our Founders’ intended it to operate! They would also end the experiment with allowing Congress to lay and collect taxes calculated from lawfully earned "incomes" which now oppresses America‘s economic engine and robs the bread which working people have earned when selling the property each has in their own labor, not to mention the amendment would end federal taxation being used as a political weapon to harass and attack political opponents!

How so. Please explain.

Already did.

But I'll try one more time.

Are you in favor of giving all pubescent girls double radical mastectomies? Because if you're not, you're pro-cancer.

"Fair Share" "Balanced Budget Amendment"? You're still on that suck up to the federal government and fund it COMMIE kick?

DemocratUnderground is thataway ---------->

Rand's objection to the debt limit increase is irrelevant, the debt limit is always increased with republicans and democrats joining hands, or the USA defaults. He just wants more opportunities to grandstand during debt limit votes.

I applaud Rand Paul for still fighting the good fight. But this is a lost cause. The debt will never be repaid, so the limit is meaningless. It's a made up number.

I agree. Rand needs to grandstand even harder.

At present, he's just a second-rate grandstander - not a third-rate grandstander like Thomas Massie.

Come on, Rand! You can do better. You're not going to let Thomas show you up like that, are you?

.

If those damn grandstanders would get out of the way, maybe Trump could actually accomplish something.

They never get anything done anyway because their positions aren’t popular, so they’re basically powerless.

Hey, wait…

Aren’t those 2 statements mutually exclusive?

But I’m sure a simple an-cap like me is just missing some sbstruse political ju-jitsu that makes it all work out. I’ll wait and see what the political “experts” who hold both positions, like Spuds MacKenzie above, have to say about it. Then it will probably all make sense.
