I don't think Trump has deviated from his base really at all in his actions. Can you think of any examples?

You and Anne don't understand the concept of political capital. Anne has no political capital because she has no tact. She will never be President and won't get much done besides writing books for an echo chamber.

Trump knows how to gain political capital and how to use it strategically. He is on a completely different level than Anne Coulter.

If you are being serious then I would say Trump has no backbone to use his political capital. He gives it away caving at the slightest bit of news media opposition after ranting on Twitter for a few days since he cannot handle anyone not liking him, instead of growing a pair. Significantly altering the policies he ran on is not good use of his political capital.

If he thinks he can keep using "The Wall" to appease Trump supporters that is bs since that was only a small part of why people voted for him. The immigration issue was way more than just the wall. If he thinks that tactic is going to work as he caves to GOP-E with each campaign promise he is going to in for a rude awakening in lost support since the tide is turning on him especially if after 8 years of Obama he is the one to cave on gun control.
