Trump is offering free helicopter rides near the Iowa state fair.

Trump is smart enough to get positive attention like that.

At one point In Time there was a Blimp which got favorable national media coverage.

Even Trump knows how to get his favorables up.

So, one candidate is in Haiti trying to give poor people the gift of sight, and another has taken his toy to Iowa to let state fairgoers play with it.

Interesting contrast.

Just hope the helicopter doesn't crash and kills/maims a couple hundred of his fanboys.

Good luck to Mr. Trump and his American living supporters.

Yea, that would go well with Trump supporter. Rand Paul is going about healing the sights of the enemy. Just imagine the horrow when these third world savages use their new gift of eye sight to navigate their way across the border into the U.S. as illegal immigrants?

I think he should have gone to Sweden instead

Which is very good of him and and will bring him much reward in heaven and I mean that in all seriousness. However, is this a campaign trip or something he's doing personally? Because if it's the latter, while all well and good, 10 days off from the trail for a campaign at five percent in the polls isn't getting the job done. This is something we criticized Ron for doing, taking long stretches off from campaigning when some more stops in certain states could have made a critical difference over the past eight years. Now Rand doing the same thing. There was plenty of time seven or eight months ago to go to Haiti, not when you're in the middle of another political endeavor. If was meeting with leaders in the region and partaking this humanitarian effort with a political trip, that's one thing. This is him just being an eye doctor. Again, fine, but running for President is a full-time, 24/7 venture for anyone partaking in it. It's just sad the Pauls have seem to never figure this out.

Rand, either get in all the way or get out. Losing isn't the worst thing that can happen, it's losing and making a half-assed effort at it which is destructive to both his reputation and the movement's. I'll eat my words and admit I'm wrong if thing turn around (happily so) but I'm afraid we're just singing the same old song.

Haitians don't vote in the U.S., but maybe that will help Rand become President of Haiti?

Christians vote in the U.S. And one or two of them actually appreciate someone who does what Christians do, rather than merely paying Christ a little public lip service here and there.
