Which is very good of him and and will bring him much reward in heaven and I mean that in all seriousness. However, is this a campaign trip or something he's doing personally? Because if it's the latter, while all well and good, 10 days off from the trail for a campaign at five percent in the polls isn't getting the job done. This is something we criticized Ron for doing, taking long stretches off from campaigning when some more stops in certain states could have made a critical difference over the past eight years. Now Rand doing the same thing. There was plenty of time seven or eight months ago to go to Haiti, not when you're in the middle of another political endeavor. If was meeting with leaders in the region and partaking this humanitarian effort with a political trip, that's one thing. This is him just being an eye doctor. Again, fine, but running for President is a full-time, 24/7 venture for anyone partaking in it. It's just sad the Pauls have seem to never figure this out.
Rand, either get in all the way or get out. Losing isn't the worst thing that can happen, it's losing and making a half-assed effort at it which is destructive to both his reputation and the movement's. I'll eat my words and admit I'm wrong if thing turn around (happily so) but I'm afraid we're just singing the same old song.
