Trey Grayson says he won’t run for attorney general or any office in 2011

he wants to spend more time with his girls BUT if he was elected Senator like he planned on happening he would be in DC a lot. doesn't stack up...

I think he'd win against Conway. Maybe he has decided to go for a House seat or something in 2012.

Gruley Martin for AG!

Some of you are clueless on Kentucky Politics. He was the best chance to get Jack Conway out of office. Not to mention he was complete class in the general as he is in everyday life and as Sec. of State. This is a bad thing for Kentucky to have him out if the party and off the ticket. He helps being on the ticket.

Jack Conway = Trey Grayson.

They are both hacks and big-government country clubber lawyers. I don't think Trey has any philosophical foundation, and Jack's philosophies are of course very liberal, but he's even willing to sell those out for political gain meaning at the end of the day he too really stands for nothing. Fortunately the good citizens from the Commonwealth of Kentucky got to see this firsthand from both of them.

None Of The Above, thank you very much.

Kentucky desperately needs an Attorney General who helps fight the federal government and who doesn't attack Republicans just because they are Republicans.

Trey stepping out now clears the way for others to get in. This was a very good move.

Again, you know very little about Kentucky politics and who's out there to run for the office of AG. Your wandering into the state a few times does not qualify you to say who should or should not be AG. There is a difference between liking someone for US Senator and AG. I'd love to hear how Secretary of State Grayson would not be an adequate AG. He's a hell of a Secretary of State.

You think wrong about Trey because of a campaign. Your hate for him is petty and only because the campaign was rough. You are like the people I had to fight when they said Senator Elect Paul sold out when he had the fundraiser with Senator McConnell and allowed State Senator Williams campaign with him. Or do you equate Senator Elect Paul as someone who "Sold Out" or are we going to act like adults and realize not everyone is a cookie cutter when it comes to philosophy and that primaries are always going to leave a wound.

Your answer is usually, to have less allies and more enemies from what I read.

I shutter to see who will be put up. The talent pool is very shallow. Many of the good possible candidates refuse to run. While the meh candidates keep tossing their hat in.

That doesn't matter. I do know that Trey Grayson is a liar and is not someone whom I would ever support, nor would anyone who wants liberty.

So now you are wanting to censor me? That's really lame.

Besides I never said I would be voting in KY.

He's a hell of a Secretary of State.
How so?

Is he going to actually shrink the size and scope of government? Is he going to refuse to prosecute those who have been charged but have harmed no one? How is he going to enforce federalism and force the Federal government to follow the Constitution? What does he think the role of government is?

You think wrong about Trey because of a campaign. Your hate for him is petty and only because the campaign was rough.
No he's a liar and someone who will do or say anything to hold office. He proved that during the campaign. That right there is enough to ensure he never holds office again, his character (or lack thereof) proves it..
