... In juvenile corrections facilities, female staff are also a much more significant threat than male staff; more than nine in ten juveniles who reported staff sexual victimization were abused by a woman...
I normally don't comment on this stuff because it's rarely edifying, but I'll take this opportunity to break it down. Buckle up, because you're about to get some truth-download...
First, most men are sexually selfish, especially young and inexperienced men. This means that they just "go for it" in bed. As a result of being inconsiderate of their partner, their partner is left sexually unsatisfied. She may keep quiet about it, or she might complain but, either way, she generally doesn't "get off", certainly nowhere near the frequency that he does. After a while, she loses a lot of the interest she originally had in sexual intimacy because it's purely an act of service, there is little or no enjoyment in it for herself, except by proxy. Proxy-pleasure is still pleasure, but it's like eating tasteless food. It's just something you do, it's not something you enjoy in itself.
As a result of this, married people and long-term couples report that "men are more interested in sex than women" and this becomes a widespread false-belief. The
more traditional a society is, the more widespread is this false-belief, because the less challenged male selfishness in bed is.
As a result of
this, women are attributed sexual trust that would not be attributed to men. This includes with small children and other situations where there is a potential for sexual abuse or misconduct. When we see headline statistics like the above quote, this is seen as terribly shocking -- aren't women just sexual primroses who are more interested in social functions than in the bedroom? In reality, the female mind is arguably
more sexually twisted than the male mind. Statistics like "90% of juveniles who report sexual victimization are abused by a woman" is a manifestation of this reality that is only jarring to us because of the widespread false-belief in the general sexual-apathy of women, which flows from the sequence of cause-and-effect I described above. In short, women are sexual freaks, no matter what appearance they put on to the contrary, even in private.
I'm not proposing any solutions here, just throwing some light on the problem.
