I don't understand why people make statements like this and then get disappointed later. The polls show that we're competing for 2nd, just like in Nevada.
Stop being a poopy pants.
Caucus polls can be far off. Our highest Nevada poll was 15% and we got 19%. Newts lowest was 25% and he got 21%. In 2008 we beat a guy with 21% when we had 7%.
Minn is an open caucus so the dems and indies can come out for Paul. This should make it even easier for us to overperform polls. Santorum should be hurt the most by this since he is strong primarily with repubs.
Also, 1836 is trying to motivate those that can alter the outcome to put in the extra effort. If all of our supporters come out and vote we win.
Yes. The PPP poll was off by 8%, but they have Santorum ahead by 13% now. They aren't going to be off by that much. Ron has a 2% chance to win this caucus on Intrade. People just make ridiculous expectations and then the sense of reality comes when the votes are actually counted.

All the polls I see have Ron placing 4th in all contests tonight.
So it is impossible to underperform!
True! But I think people are getting their hopes up.
