President-elect Donald Trump gave his "complete" and "total" endorsement of Mike Johnson ahead of next month's expected fight to hold onto the House speakership.

"The American people need IMMEDIATE relief from all of the destructive policies of the last Administration. Speaker Mike Johnson is a good, hard working, religious man," Trump wrote on TRUTHSocial Monday. "He will do the right thing, and we will continue to WIN. Mike has my Complete & Total Endorsement. MAGA!!!"

Anybody who didn't see this coming lives in a hole.

I'm taking the Bill Maher approach.

Let's see the results before spending weeks and months bitching and complaining.

The biggest red flag would be Iran and Middle East.

Lets see how Trump admin is compromised yet again by the Establishment.
How much war mongering Trump admin would push in the middle east or Ukraine again.

Its to early now.
We have to wait and see how the first, three months go.

Look at everybody else in the picture.

Do you think it's possible the establishment is being corrupted by Trump?

Who else could win the vote? Rick Scott only got like 12 votes in the Senate. At least Johnson has shown he can be somewhat controlled, just like the spending bill was killed.

Even if he’s not the next speaker, Harris can still wield considerable power in the next Congress, according to Hickel.

“The House Freedom Caucus, with Harris as their chairman, might decide to act as a more unified block against Johnson and any deal with Democrats,” he said. “If they’re not acting in a unified way, Harris is still chair of a powerful and influential caucus, and I’d look for him to leverage that.”

Welcome to the new anti-Democrat Party coalition.

That said, Johnson isn't bad on every single issue. He's no worse than anyone else in this picture. They all endorse liberalism and the proposition nation. I could make the case that most are even anti-American. Some of them aren't even actual Americans.

All this announcement does is give TDS-sufferers yet another excuse to dump on him.

Looks like they haven't learned nothing...

Well that was cute. Nobody we like is going to win, this is a moot point.

The first vote is:

Johnson: 216

Jeffries: 215

Donalds: 1

Emmer: 1

Jordan: 1
