I went to the Flint Ron Paul campaign office yesterday and told them I wanted to be a poll watcher and a precinct captain. He told me there were very few poll watchers for Ron Paul in my area.

The man in the suit took my name, address and email address and told me he would get back with me. They handed me a lot of Slim Jims and such but I don't know anything about my precinct area and where to put them.

Still today, I have not had an email from them or anything.... I suspect they will get back to me perhaps a day before the primary if at all.

He told me he couldn't do that but it was up to the main office to do that. Duh!
Now how is the main office supposed to know what papers are around this area?

I do. I am in Utah, lived in Michigan for 2 years. I am actually starting to consider following the lead of those in NH who dropped everything to head out there, and heading to Michigan to help.

We have done what we can, but the HQ here in Michigan BLOWSSSS. Sorry, but it does. It is going to be a tight race between McCain, Huckabee and Romney here.

Unless the campaign does something ridiculous in the next week, like spending 5 million here on ads, we won't do better than 4th.

Go sign up as a precinct captain and you can get maps and walking lists of registered voters. Start there. You can speak, call or get information to all of those people as a start.
