***think Before You Act, There Could Be People Here Who Don`t Want Ron Paul To Win!

Some of us are trying very hard to get Ron Paul into this forum.

We are NOT saying that we cannot support OTHER efforts as well. But this sub-forum is not about Iowa or how stupid you think we are to want Ron Paul in the Fox News forum. It's about getting Ron Paul into this forum!

The fact is if you want to discuss targetting poker players or so fourth do it on another forum! We here on this forum are trying to get Ron Paul into this Fox News "forum."

Actually, you are pretty much alone.....

Dude, I want Ron Paul in that forum too, but do you at least understand where I'm coming from?

You're telling us, the people who helped Paul raise 19 million dollars and helped bring Ron Paul to double digits in the polls, that we shouldn't trust our instincts? My instincts say that we should put pressure on the GOP to include Ron Paul. We pressure the GOP to include Ron Paul, they pressure whomever put the debate together. Public pressure is what kept Paul in the debates after his confrontation with Giuliani in May. The official campaign has a different take? Too bad, they have been incompetent in this campaign so far.

As far as conspiracy theories go, I'm with you on that. When I look at a Paul presidency I see non-intervention, reduced spending, and constitutional rights. Nothing more, nothing less. Anyone who wants to piggy back their own personal agenda on our movement can go elsewhere.

There is really nothing we can do about the media trying to make us look 'crazy'. Happened to Perot, it's happening to Paul, and it will happen to the next candidate who opposes the cable news networks view of the world. I won't change myself because some bimbo on Fox News giggles and yells isolationist. Nor will I change myself because someone with no foreign experience, like Michael Savage, wants us to invade half the middle east.

We never thought we'd be where we are now, and our best chance of winning is to stick to our principles and pull an upset.

ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA – According to the New Hampshire State Republican Party and an Associated Press report, Republican presidential candidate and Texas Congressman Ron Paul will be excluded from an upcoming forum of Republican candidates to be broadcast by Fox News on January 6, 2008.

“Given Ron Paul’s support in New Hampshire and his recent historic fundraising success, it is outrageous that Dr. Paul would be excluded,” said Ron Paul 2008 campaign chairman Kent Snyder. “Dr. Paul has consistently polled higher in New Hampshire than some of the other candidates who have been invited.”

Snyder continued, “Paul supporters should know that we are continuing to make inquiries with Fox News as to why they have apparently excluded Dr. Paul from this event.”

That's great, but it's not very useful. Note the "apparently." As usual, the campaign doesn't know what's going on. Let them figure out what's up.

As Kent points out, they are waiting to hear from Fox, since they are the issue here.

Right, so the campaign doesn't even know what is going on.

Sounds like a good reason to relax, chill out and look at this again on Sunday or Monday morning.

Ron and the official campaign are doing their job - and we're
doing ours. There is a reason why this is being set apart.

This way we're MORE FREE to act on our own - and the same
goes to the official campaign...

Simple as that.

Fox makes the decisions about who attends. As the campaign release points out, they are waiting to hear back from FOX.

Thanks for the welcome, David.

I'm not a bit surprised by Fox's actions. Disappointed, very. Surprised, no.

I have a feeling that we have a lot of work cut out for us. Seems like the stronger we get the more backlash there is.

The last thing any of us needs in time of censorship is infighting.

Untied we stand. Divided we fall.

This kind of crap is going to turn off curious potential voters.

There's some wisdom in your argument at least insofar as you're correct to say that our instincts have gotten us to where we are now.

However, I strongly disagree with putting pressure on the NH GOP for various reasons I've already posted. If I'm the NH GOP, why would I want to waste even a minute dealing with angry letters from Ron Paul supporters? I'd practice a policy of avoidance instead and cite the lowest polls I could find (LA Times comes to mind) to justify it.

I suspect Fox is to blame here, but we need to wait at least until we get more definite information. We should only go to the NH GOP if we're unsuccessful with Fox.

Pull an upset where it counts. By campaigning hard, registering voters and getting them to the polls. We need to win the nomination, not win airtime.

Think big. Think about the bigger picture.

Attacking the NH GOP when they are not the problem, is not going to be the answer.
