they will run Nader, Bloomberg and anyone else they can find with national name recognition to split up the General Election vote like they've done with the Republican primary and so denying RP a healthy %

I think that the media is already calling for this. It's becoming pretty obvious.

Ron Paul will not lose votes. RP will only gain. I don't think any RP supporter will abandon him for any of these fools because we understand what's in stake. I think the other "major" party candidates will be affected by having other 3rd parties. Specially the Republican party.

A Bloomberg and Nader independent run would hurt the Democrats more. Obviously, Paul would hurt the Republicans.

So, what, Nader is a "vague conspiracy" tool as well? Get a grip. Who did they run against Paul who "split" his vote? Kucinich was the only one with the same anti-war platform, and he wasn't even the in same party.

Dr. Paul needs to select a dynamic, personable and well spoken VP for his third party bid. We need just such a person to get a little face time on the national level - this revolution is just beginning - if we are to put forward a new generation of our movement.

Dr. Paul is of course the titular head, and I continue to hope for good results in November. But we need another face to help carry the water, and to be ready to seize the reigns when the good doc decides to retire from public life.

not HIS vote the third party vote. if RP was the ONLY recognizable/major third party against McCain and Clinton he would get a huge % , if they run Nader, Bloomberg etc that will be diluted thus ensuring he doesn't get into the debates

You are right, but in the wider picture. Only about 1% of people who vote in a general election vote in a primary.

There isn't any RINO Republicans or Ron Paul (Real) Republicans out there that will vote for Bloomberg or Nader. Everybody knows these two guys are socialist wacko's. If they ran it would help us by pulling votes from the Democrats. We could still pull some Democrat votes, then work on pulling the pissed off Republicans who can't stand voting for McCain since he's really a Liberal RINO.

Paul needs to run 3rd party. We'll have a better shot at it.

I don't think Nade or Bloomberg will be running with the support RP has. To exclude RP from debates will only call for boycotts. That wouldn't really happen if Bloomberg or Nader are excluded. Thus, RP would be debating 2 idiots. His stance would be noticed.

Who are "they"?

Why do "they" decide whether or not Nader runs? I'm pretty sure Ralph can make up his own mind.
