Because, as a group, they still fit the bill better than the republicans. So more atheists are still registered that way.

If we could clone Ron Paul, and make him the majority in the republican party, then that might change things.

Hasn't happened in this country, YET, at least not that I know of. I am not going to lead you to where you need to go to study the history you need to study, since you are intelligent and can do the research and reading on your own. "I don't think", you can think a lot of things but history proves different. Please look into China for an example of certain forced things that are going on right now.

As for arrogant, there is nothing wrong with being humble and intelligent at the same time. Are many people arrogant here and there? Yes, but being humble is a virtue to strive for IMHO (no pun intended, hehe). Also, like I mentioned we have an overall lower education level across the board of all walks of life thanks to the public ed system and other things I mentioned.

If 'good' people are being bred out, then they need to start breeding. There's the answer to the million dollar question. They need to stop having abortions for those who have (many women end up really regretting it), stop waiting later to have kids when it's harder to conceive and easier to experience miscarriages, complications, and birth defects, start having bigger families, etc. 'Good' people come across the spectrum, too. High intelligence comes across the spectrum.

Look at all the highly intelligent RP supporters across the spectrum, and RP himself (Christian). White, black, Arab, atheists, Christians, Jews, agnostics, etc. Look at all the brainwashed people that have voted for other candidates, all across the spectrum.

Requires? Nobody is being forced at gunpoint, they can stop tithing at any time. My brother was complaining about tithing, and I said are you being forced to tithe? He of course said no, he's an atheist. Plenty of people tithe because they like their churches.

My brother tithes to the tobacco industry by means of addiction, he could stop doing so if he really wanted to but doesn't. Maybe he just likes it.
