The Venus Project: Our Only Future

To suggest that everyone will have everything is total utopian nonsense.

What if you're society isn't perfected yet? what if everyone doesn't have everything yet?

What if the doctor wants a brand new invention, that hasn't been produced enough to give to everyone, yet?

Just because you say "everything will be available to everyone" does not mean such a system is possible. Things need to be produced, and people need to be encouraged to produce them, and the best encouragement for production is profit, not "we are one" communist nonsense.

There are elements of slavery in the system we are a part of now, but the one you advocate is full-blown slavery.

Religious bullshit.
obvioulsy, you dont get it. we are one, is not communism, its not religion, its anti both. talking about the consciousness, the accepting the fact that you have an ego, and its your brain. turning off your ignorant thoughts is key to finding this consciousness. heres a great quote "all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are all the imagination of ourselves". Bill Hicks.
now, all of your dumbass questions are simply this, what does it matter if you cant get a new invention to everyone NOW. shit takes time, we've survived this long havent we? it will get there, no problem, faster than humans can do it too. im pretty sure you havent been to the site, and read anything based on the last part of your questions...production by automation bots. AI. humans will only watch over them. we not going to allow them to take over, there will be rescritions.

the fact that this "truther" can't admit to his socialist views, proves how ignorant he is.

I've been wasting my time with him for too long, i don't recommend anyone else wastes time talking to this kid.

LOL!

this is true.

I'm into meditation and psychedellics, you're not explaining anything to me here...

heres a great quote "all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively.
This is a brief explanation of "Quarks", which is expressed in Quantum physics.

There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are all the imagination of ourselves". Bill Hicks.

I'm a Big Bill Hicks fan, myself ;)

You clearly did not understand the purpose or the meaning of my question, but i'm done wasting time with you.

Whatever, you're still a socialist advocating a socialist system.

It's sad how you aren't able to realize this basic fact, and means you probably don't have enough knowledge to understand the things you've claimed to figure out.

I know lots about Consciousness, Quantum theory, Evolution, Psychedellics, etc, so you're not fooling me with this "One being" crap, that's a very simplistic explanation that ignores the greater reality.

We are all diversified beings, evolved from the same source of energy.

whatever you took my words out of context. pertaining to the socialism part. i was not saying that socialism is money. i was saying that in a money system, socialism is terrible. makes no sense, thus does not work. thats the difference. you are just hiding away in your 20th century. yes, corporatism killed capitalism, but they did it pretty easily. The Fed killed you with money. as long as there is money, there is something to barter with, and thus man will have greed. get over it already, your system is about to fall. and worst yet, you will defend it to the hands of the NWO. which will give you your real fear of a socialist society. not mine. my freedom. and it is, you just misunderstand, looking to gain something, because you are wired that way. if you choose to be ignorant, and only play by your rules, then this planet is doomed to be, and so are your children.

You seem unreasonably confident that Bill Hicks is correct. ;) He may very well be, but centralization of resources is no way to tap into this consciousness in any case. Every single system of centralized control over resources that has ever been devised - and that ever WILL be devised - has always become, and will always become, tyranny of nightmarish proportions.

Who is going to magically produce these automaton bots and AI?

as for the Bill Hicks thing, its part of the David Icke understanding what is going on, and what is going to happen. all connected to the Zeitgiest, thus, The Venus Project. say what you want about this system, it does seem socialist, but only if you consider money real, and yourself above others. the old ways are dying out. The NWO is proving this, which is why we will rise against them, and create the Venus Project.

i was not saying that socialism is money.
I never said you were

i was saying that in a money system, socialism is terrible. makes no sense, thus does not work.

Okay... but the Venus project is still socialist, by definition.

Money is just the representation of wealth, and i'm pretty sure you aren't against people owning "wealth".

thats the difference. you are just hiding away in your 20th century.
Actually i've studied many various civilizations that function on various forms of economics, including several that had "no representation of wealth".

yes, corporatism killed capitalism, but they did it pretty easily.
Took a couple hundred years.

The Fed killed you with money.
The FED didn't exist until 1913 ;)

There was money long before then. You should have a problem with "Fiat money" not money itself ;)

as long as there is money, there is something to barter with, and thus man will have greed.
So i can't barter with bread, gold or water?

Is money just something that you can barter?

Greed is merely self-interest. There is no such thing as a society that functions without greed, as every single individual on this planet is greedy to some extent.

get over it already, your system is about to fall.

God you're dumb.

and worst yet, you will defend it to the hands of the NWO.

You don't understand what socialism is, so i imagine you have no idea what the NWO really is either.

Good-bye forever, young ignorant one.

I suggest you read some Mises.org, and go easy on the conspiracy bullshit.

It is not money that creates greed. It is the desire for greater resources, whatever they may be. Money is merely a medium of exchange that is more efficient than barter...and because it is more efficient, it means less time and energy is wasted on working out the logistics of trading inherently scarce resources, allowing more time and energy to be spent on more productive pursuits, ensuring there is more to go around for everyone. If scarcity were not a problem, money would not have to exist, since people would not have to trade. However, the problem of scarcity is not some trivial issue that can be magically hand-waved away. Overcoming it is something that will take years, decades, and centuries of technological progress...and the free market, not some hairbrained communist utopian vision that presupposes the existence of all that technology in the first place, is the quickest way to achieve a world where scarcity is no longer a practical concern.

Face it: If we already had this technology, the idea of centralized resource management inherent to the Venus Project wouldn't be necessary anymore. Since we don't already have this technology, creating a centralized society a la the Venus Project is certainly not the fastest way to achieve it anyway. Either way, the Venus Project is a bad idea. Considering centralization of resource management is the single biggest wet dream of the NWO, this Venus Project idea totally plays into their hands.

What MADE you this screwed up, by the way? Were you always brain-dead, or did the Venus Project brainwashing program make you this way?

:D

Icke is a nut job, moron who believes the reptilian race has taken over earth.

Umm no, it's socialism, by definition of the word, but it's not like you understand what that is or anything.
the old ways are dying out.
Stupidity
The NWO is proving this, which is why we will rise against them, and create the Venus Project.

The NWO would eat your virgin Utopian society alive, but good luck with it!

The Venus Project can go to hell. Go away. We don't need this socialist utopia garbage. This is the opposite of freedom.

There's something really sinister about this Zeitgeist / Venus Project thing though. I did a quick Google search, and it seems that completely fanatical brainwashed utopians spouting communist platitudes (that they don't seem to recognize for what they are) are nothing out of the ordinary in the Zeitgeist crowd...it's totally creepy. It's especially disturbing considering all the talk about managing resources according to the "carrying capacity of the Earth." Where have we heard rhetoric like that before? Oh yeah, I seem to recall the Georgia Guidestones giving a specific number in the, say...500 million people range? It bothers me how these clearly sketchy and manipulative Zeitgeist videos seem so disproportionately popular relative to most other "fringe" documentaries (at least at a glance), and it really concerns me how naive young people are so desperate for answers that they're buying this communist utopia hook, line, and sinker...and seemingly unable to snap out of it. It's creepy, and maybe I'm just paranoid, but I wouldn't be surprised if the whole Zeitgeist thing turned out to be a deliberate setup to promote the NWO under a fancy new name and the guise of "opposition."

It's frikin brilliant. You see the price of the merchandise? Sure they offer some of the stuff for free, but you could literally rake in a bunch of money selling this idea. They'd sell five times as much if they added a cheap glass tobacco pipe with the books and dvd's.

Venus Project = Anarcho-Communism

=

The fact that the abandonment of rationality and economics in behalf of "freedom" and whim will lead to the scrapping of modern production and civilization and return us to barbarism does not faze our anarcho-communists and other exponents of the new "counter-culture." But what they do not seem to realize is that the result of this return to primitivism would be starvation and death for nearly all of mankind and a grinding subsistence for the ones remaining.

If they have their way, they will find that it is difficult indeed to be jolly and "unrepressed" while starving to death. All this brings us back to the wisdom of the great Spanish philosopher Ortega y Gasset:

In the disturbances caused by scarcity of food, the mob goes in search of bread, and the means it employs is generally to wreck the bakeries. This may serve as a symbol of the attitude adopted, on a greater and more complicated scale, by the masses of today towards the civilization by which they are supported … Civilization is not "just here," it is not self-supporting.

It is artificial … if you want to make use of the advantages of civilization, but are not prepared to concern yourself with the upholding of civilization — you are done. In a trice you find yourself left without civilization. Just a slip, and when you look, everything has vanished into air. The primitive forest appears in its native state, just as if curtains covering pure Nature had been drawn back. The jungle is always primitive and vice versa, everything primitive is mere jungle. (José Ortega y Gasset, The Revolt of the Masses, New York: W.W. Norton, 1932, p. 97.)

LOL...why do I get the feeling that it would be more ethical to sell heroin in a kindergarten cafeteria? ;)

Dam, I should've known they'd already have this one covered :o

The Perfect Society On Paper + The Human Element = A very flawed and dangerous system

Venus Project = Anarcho-Communism

You sure they're not Anarcho-Syndicalists? Maybe I'm getting my definitions wrong.

Anyway, like I said, The Venus Project is about three-steps-behind the real world and what we understand about it. There is, as Mini-Me stated, something sinister about the radical green element. We already have the ability to solve Mankind's energy problems for the forseeable future using Nikolai Tesla's 'radiant energy' (the electrical charge of the Earth and the electrical fields inherent in the Universe) its just a matter of institutional inertia and engineering. This talk of doing away with money is bullshit and I feel like Im listening to James Taggart from Atlas Shrugged whenever I read Truther's posts.
