Ok I am just going to come out and say it, the official Ron Paul 2012 website sucks. Lets say I am an undecided voter and want to find out where Ron Stands on the issues.I will go to his website and find basically NO policy positions. This is a huge problem. I visit other candidates websites and they are much better. Heck Even Herman Cain has pics of his supporters. The website needs some serious upgrads now!

It needs some work but lets not say it sucks because its all we have. I like to call it under construction. I only wish i could be the one working on it.

I just thought it may be good for some of us more savvy computer people to maybe offer some free help. Any one out their think they can do better? Now is the time for you to step up.

I don't know who you would contact but if you got what it takes then let them know its time for you to drive this boat!

my bet is that this one was put together rather quickly and that they have a much better one in the works. Remember, Ron Paul only announced a month ago.

Patience :)

Sucks?

Or the greatest website of all time!!!

No! You need to make the website a priority. Call them up and tell them how its going to be...

Everyone has a specialty and mine does not happen to be in web design. I'm just saying it how it is in the hopes that the campaign will understand that it's a problem. If no one complains, they'll think everything is ok.

My suggestion would be to update the Calendar of Events. Right now, it's a blank calendar (except for one event in mid June) even though RP is appearing at a public event tomorrow.

just looked at, not that bad.

and in reality few people will read policy positions. these primaries will be won or lost in the news media (mainly Fox) , local ads, facebook. and by the importance of certain issues come primary day. Had the stock market collapsed in March 2008 instead of September the 2008 election would have been Romney vs Hillary.

Your right. I could not run it, only tell others what i wanted. But to my credit. I called the DC office of Paul this night and complained about not being able to sign up and the rest of it. I have done all i can except hand right a note to Ron.

I like the website. Powered by cando. I had a website for a year powered by sitebuildit. It was about forex. I made a few pennies with infolinks. It's fun and easy to build sites with the help of those kinds of templates.

I felt the same way The Dark Knight feels, but then I realized, there's not a lot of major interest in the race right now. The interest is only coming from political junkies like us, most other people aren't paying a dime's attention right now. Consider how big the race is going to be in October, November, and December. The campaign knows this, so they haven't gone through the many hours of work it takes to create a platform. They will wait for the right moment to do that.

If you want to know Ron's policy positions, he published fifty of them in a new book.

I agree... there needs to be an issues section at least..

the graphics and layout are nice, there needs to a be a lot more content...

The website may not be that bad when viewed in isolation but when compared to the other candidates' (Romney, Cain, Pawlenty), it's the worst in my opinion. The only good thing is that if you google Ron Paul, it's the last result on the first page.

Just look at the other candidates, Mittens just announced today and his site is already better. He already has some issues up.

.

Right but if youre someone who just saw him on the View, or CNBC and you want to know more, you go to the campaign site and see it to be rather bleak.

We need to appear 10 fold of what we are. Only then will the polls start to reflect that with the bandwagon effect.

The new website is disappointing especially when you consider that the 2008 site was so damn amazing. Other candidates copied it! If they just disted off the old design he would be alot more ahead of the game. His policies haven't changed so copy paste. Lets go!
