wow, this is critical inside baseball getting zero media coverage.

HUGE majority of voters have no idea this stuff goes on. They don't know about conventions, executive committees, etc. They think political candidates just fall from the sky for them to vote on every few years. No surprise the media doesn't cover this stuff at all. If they did then more people would be aware and get involved in the nuts and bolts. That's bad news for the party establishment controllers.

Well that's fucked. Fisher was just re-elected as committeewoman for NC at last year's state convention, saying she wanted to represent both the established party members and the new blood and won a lot of our votes for it! Then she doesn't even show up to the conference? Ugh.

She's in pretty poor health though so that may be the reason.
