OK guys,

With Ron's letter he sent out it's basically 100% clear that he will not be President. That's fine, we will still support his run for both President and Congress (so don't call me a troll).

What's important now is that we do two major things. 1) We must support pro-liberty candidates for Congress, we all know this, but also 2) WE MUST BEGIN CONSIDERING WHO WE WILL SUPPORT FOR PRESIDENT IN 2012.

Ron Paul could have done much better if we had had more time to gain name recognition, so this time we must start EARLY. So, who are some possible candidates?????

I don't have any names, but hopefully Paul won't be afraid to give some to us. I think this revolution will succeed if we pay attention to this sentence from the letter, "And I have plans to continue fighting for our ideas in politics and education that I will share with you when I can, for I will need you at my side."

I DO know that there are a large amount of people already running to be in office, be it Senate, House, or local government positions . . .

BULLSHIT. This thing isn't even close to over.

It isnt over but we need to start thinking about expanding our effort to state level politics as well. We can help elect people for every possible position in every state. Not just to congress but to every government position.

I'm still wondering what Paul refers to in his letter. Paul stated he has some plans, and will share them with us when the time is right, and he will need our help with us at his side in order to defend the platform. My mind is spinning in anticipation. I can only imagine what this is to consist of, or what that perfect scenario is when he plans on letting us know.

2008 is still going on people.

We have to work hard, all the way to the Convention. And, we have to elect as many Liberty candidates as possible to the House and Senate (including Ron Paul).

. . . I agree. :D

I would like to see this whole "movement" formalized and organized. I'd like to see Ron take the lead on this.

We also need to fill the GOP with Ron Paul insiders.

One thing I noticed is that we could have done much better if we had county and state delegates in place very early on.

Trouble is, no one knew how to do this. I still don't.

So I made this site: http://newr3volution.com/

We need people with working knowledge of how to "infiltrate" the GOP in each and every state.

Help me out!

I agree. www.freeople.com is supposed to be putting together a good site to keep us connected with political candidates supporting RP's platform. There are positions needed to complete the project. I think that will help us significantly once it gets up a going. This is going to be a great next year in politics. Networking and an unwavering attitude toward the issues will pull us through.

I am very good at organizing things, except I know jack shit about how to do a website. Which on the net makes me feel a bit incompetent to assist. However, in the real world I do quite well. This is a call to all those people that are good at web development or web design to come forth and help www.freeople.com get a solid site together.

Please join me in this effort.

We're doing this in New Hampshire. Hopefully, most of you by now have heard of the project to gather liberty minded people in one small population state pre-disposed to libertarian ideas:

http://freestateproject.org/

If the FSP is how you get to NH, then NHLA is what you do when you get there. It is an organization focused on furthering the cause of liberty within NH:

http://nhliberty.org/

I'm getting involved with them now, and I'm loving it so far. My hope is that we can demonstrate the means and methods by which success can be achieved, and that hopefully people will copy our structure and methods by creating Liberty Associations in all other states.
