Trump Forces Declare War on Harvard

Which he is, by a good margin.

The devil is in the margin. He was obviously expecting more.

Here you're damning Trump with the faintest of faint praise. Yes, it certainly is valid praise, weak as it is. That's the key to this psyop.

For the moment.

Fine. You don't have cognitive dissonance. You're just grumpy because you're dealing with the dream malfunction after the one you loved betrayed you. Either way, I'm sick of you swordsmything (swordsmything: v. The act of putting words in someone else's mouth preparatory to making a strawman out of them) people. Especially since it isn't helping the country or making you feel any better.

At least I don't call for bans which really tires me. I guess we all have our faults[?] lol.

I'm about to ban myself. I don't voluntarily deal with AI anywhere else but this Home of Knickerbot in a Knot.

I thought about doing that to myself too, but where would the fun be in that

Well, admittedly it's a change of pace to see men abusing me because I warned them. Usually it's women who ensure no good deed goes unpunished.

It's no different from the woman who hasn't spoken to me for two years because I warned her about the jab, she didn't listen, and now her immune system doesn't work. I guess we don't have to even say we told them so; just seeing our faces seems to be reminder enough to trigger them.

My favorite saying that I live by: The choices you makes today can/will affect the rest of your life. They know this about me, but for some reason they can't seem to incorporate it into their own lives; they typically have regret.

I never got the impression that AF had any expectations of Trump beyond just being better than Kamala.

Which he is, by a good margin.
There's really nothing more to it than that FFS.

Any support for Trump from me has been lukewarm and skeptical. and an awful lot is starting to look like the same old same old.

But my small political "wish list" of items I wanted to see has been fulfilled, so I see no reason to bitch too loudly, yet anyway.

Just a note regarding a hidden agenda: Trump is attempting to de-fund the University system entirely. Why? Because that system is second only to the main stream media in its unified opposition to Trump and support of a radical cultural marxism. Trump is cutting the throats of his enemies. How? Let me count the ways.

1. The most obvious is the cuts to direct government subsidies in the form of grants from the NSF and NIH (to name the largest). People crying about the harm to research fail to mention that Universities pocket huge cuts off the top of all incoming grants. Cutting those grants cuts University admin incomes.

2. Deporting foreign students in a frighteningly unpredictable and arbitrary way. Foreign students are typically charged several times the tuition of domestic students by universities. They are a HUGE source of income for universities. Fear among potential international students is already causing their numbers to drop. And, amusingly, the more the media broadcasts the sob stories, the more frightened the potential students get, playing right into Trump's hands. Along these lines I expect the grant programs to start getting some serious scrutiny. And they ARE full of fraud.

3. Directing the Department of Education to turn student loans over to collections. By creating an outcry among former students with loan debt having their wages garnished, which the media will stupidly amplify, future students will shy away from taking out the loans that go into university pockets. The student loan program will be stifled, and maybe even be eliminated in exchange for a one-time loan write off. Along these lines I expect the grant programs to start getting some serious scrutiny. And they ARE full of fraud.

4. Turning the general population against welfare for private, elite, universities with billion-dollar endowments. And perhaps splitting the allegiance of Jewish alums over the Palestinian issue.

This strategy has the potential to pop the University bubble in America.

I don't see Trump as any kind of hero of liberty. Not by a long shot. No more than I see the American University system as anything other than a propaganda machine for the worst kind of socialist rot. But anyone who thinks Trump is just swinging wildly might be surprised at how strategically skillful he is.

Trump promised to end DEI and Harvard has refused.

It's a big issue for some voters and if he wins it- it will be the legacy his presidency leaves behind.

It could have far reaching impacts depending how it plays out.

You're finally admitting he's still a Democrat?
Trump is not a democrat. The democrats pushed DEI as a way to enforce ESG investing.

Even France called what they were doing woke authoritarianism.

The ESG was globalism disguised as a political movement. It was going to have us pay to finance power plants in all of the developing world with clean energy.

That movement has died with Trump in office. There's no competition keeping prices of energy down if we ban fossil fuels and give tax credits out to subsidize solar panels and windmills. So those rats were going to charge an arm and a leg to do it and put us into debt for 5 generations to pay for it.

And fuck Al Gore for calling Trump a Nazi.

Great post! It's good to have analysis outside of the MSM propaganda box.

"2. Deporting foreign students in a frighteningly unpredictable and arbitrary way."

And yes, the deep state reaction shows that this is a major issue for them:

Federal judge orders ICE to reinstate legal status of 133 foreign students

A federal judge in Georgia has ordered the Trump administration to reinstate the legal statuses of 133 international students by 5 p.m. Tuesday after their F-1 student visas were suddenly terminated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Homeland Security (DHS).

The students, many of whom are in good academic standing and close to graduation, had their records terminated on Homeland Security’s SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) and they allege this was done without prior notice, proper explanation or an opportunity to respond. SEVIS is a database Homeland Security uses to monitor non-immigrant students.

U.S. District Court Judge Victoria Calvert, a Biden appointee, granted temporary restraining orders on behalf of the plaintiffs and ordered ICE and DHS to reinstate student statuses retroactively to March 31, 2025.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS SUE OVER TRUMP ADMIN REVOKING VISAS

"Plaintiffs are likely to show that Defendants' termination of the SEVIS registration exceeds the bounds of statutory and regulatory authority and is therefore unlawful," Calvert wrote.

Today is the day we allow adversaries to fill college campuses with disinformation and anti-American propaganda because a Biden appointed judge has ordered it.

I thought January 6th was supposed to be treason day. We are going to need a whole month for treason at this rate.

"I’ve just spoken to Prime Minister of Israel, Bibi Netanyahu, relative to numerous subjects including Trade, Iran, etc. The call went very well—We are on the same side of every issue."

Not gonna lie, there's been a lot of good which has happened under this administration.

But they're fucking up with these deportations.

The only way they are failing is that they are going to slow and letting the judges interfere.
