The Rand Paul Daily Paul Interview

I'm not sure if this will completely reassure everyone since it is not coming from Ron himself, but Rand says here he doesn't believe his father will endorse Romney.

*sighs* not sure why I even bother. I thought it would be good for more people to watch and now it's in obscurity.

I'm 5 minutes in, still haven't heard a reason why he endorsed Romney.

Why did you endorse Romney? Why would you campaign for him? Why not just keep your trap shut?

"We're in the midst of deciding where we go..."
Not by lying to get there sir, and dragging people into that you don't represent into it.

What the crap does he go off on listing bullcrap bills that likely will never see the light of day for?

It's been obvious to a lot of us for a long time, yes, that the Ron Paul 2012 campaign was not serious about winning, perhaps because of some people like you...realistic is that Rand Paul lied in his endorsement of Mitt Romney.
This is not about "supporting the nominee", it's about the fact Rand Paul lied in his endorsement of Mitt Romney.

Patting himself on the back, for past support of his dad? Seriously? We have to go there?
So I guess Tagg Romney is just as great as Rand Paul, for supporting his dad?

Then he sits here and lists things that "Romney says"...and has no record of.

"I don't go around insulting folks..."
Right. Have you checked your endorsement sir? You lied in your endorsement. LIED. Through your teeth. Since then, the official campaign has come out to defend your lying endorsement of Mitt Romney.
I already provided an example of what you could have said in your endorsement, without dragging your father's name and supporters into the endorsement.

This was a big waste of hot air actually. Didn't realize DailyPaul was so entrenched in both the Rand and Ron campaigns, now the "brochures" they kept promoting kind of make sense.

I don't have a problem with you endorsing Mitt Romney, I do have a problem with you lying in your endorsement of Mitt Romney. Speak for yourself, not for others.

Rand Paul on the Peter Schiff Show

Not that anyone will see this since we are in hiding everything mode or something.

From a political stand point it was theorized that he waited to the last second before Kentucky's GOP convention., i think. I think that is obvious Rand doesn't think he can do what he wants in 6 years. Which is the amount of time he could ever hope to occupy Kentucky's senate seat if he did not. It's also obvious the Liberty movement cannot get him elected to President if he wants to seek that office.

For crying out loud!!! You guys hired someone to shovel shit and know you don't like the smell???
/facepalm

MITT ROMNEY + SEAN HANNITY.

I wish this was just a bad dream. Justifying supporting Romney based on things Romney says/has said. He's been on both sides of almost every "issue".

I'm so sick of people throwing Rand Paul, under the bus.. He is one of us, take it or leave it. When 2016/2020 rolls around, you'll understand the decisions he's made. This endorsement is going to move this movement—believe it or not.

In 2016/2020, if we aren't being sniped by the drones (because they don't need warrants, and don't care), I doubt Rand Paul will be much of anything, once the "machine" rolls out against him.
He already burned his bridge by lying in his official endorsement of Romney, and dragged Ron Paul supporters into it by name.
If he is truly a professional politician, and knows how to play the game, he is doing an absolutely horrendous job, and this idea of..."going along to get along" doesn't work. Compromise once, and it gets easier to compromise a 2nd time, and 3rd time...and so on.
Seriously, he would have come out and endorsed Michele "I Lie About Your Father" Bachmann, and all the other candidates that did the same, including Jon Huntsman...to get along with the party?
He didn't answer the question as to WHY he endorsed Romney at all, he's going into full defense mode now...about himself and how great he is. That's what both interviews have been. "I'm a great Senator because of XYZ..."
That's not the question...

My thinking is he justified his endorsement of Romney on the clear fact that not doing so was political suicide. While we certainly gave grassroots ability to Rand for his senate race, it wasn't the Liberty Movement who stepped into Kentucky voting booths and got Rand elected.

No amount of our help gets him elected in 2016, for anything,if he doesn't endorse Romney for 2012. It's that simple.

I listened to the interview and was not impressed. Rand accuses his critics of engaging in "politics".

Pot calling kettle black.

So Rand will be up for reelection in 2016 and wouldn't be reelected if he didn't endorse a man who (I HOPE) he has nothing in common with other than a political party affiliation in 2012?

Can you give me tomorrows winning powerball numbers? :)
