It's not really a good thing.

It gives legislators cover to vote for Audit the Fed while actually supporting more regulation. They can point to doing what they were asked while actually voting wrong. Ron will oppose the final bill, even with his amendment.

Can't Dr. Paul introduce another amendment to make changes to the final bill to remove the extra powers given to the Fed?
