It's reached a tipping point now where this BS can longer be defended.

Seventeen-year-old Christian Jimenez, a senior at McMinnville High School in Oregon, was arrested by ICE on 21 November 2025, while off campus during his lunch break, according to his family.
Despite repeatedly asserting he was a US citizen, one agent allegedly smashed the car's driver-side window, ordered him out, and arrested him anyway. Christian was transported to ICE's Portland facility and released shortly before 19:00 the same day.
According to Cesar, ICE is now considering charging him with 'interference or obstruction of an investigation'. McMinnville School District Superintendent Dr Kourtney Ferrua confirmed the incident in a message to families, saying the student had been off campus at the time and was later identified as a US citizen and reunited with his family.
Ferrua added that the district had no ICE presence in its schools and emphasised that only authorised adults are allowed to pick up students. She also acknowledged the emotional toll, 'The experience of an emotional event such as this one can have an impact on all of our students'.

Former sheriff’s advice after ICE illegally detains 170+ U.S. citizens
Nov 25, 2025
“Let them know that you’re a legal U.S. citizen, that you’ve got your papers on you, although it’s a shame we’ve gotten to this point in America where you have to carry papers to keep you from getting arrested."

RI Judge Intervenes After ICE Wrongfully Detains Superior Court Intern

November 20, 2025

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A Rhode Island Superior Court intern was briefly taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Providence Thursday afternoon before a judge intervened, according to the state’s Judiciary office.

The student, a high school intern at Superior Court, was reportedly detained by the agents outside the Licht Judicial Complex on Benefit Street.

Superior Court Judge Joseph McBurney insisted the agents had the wrong person.

The intern was reportedly shaken, so McBurney offered to drive him home. ICE agents then surrounded the judge’s car and demanded everyone to exit the vehicle, threatening to smash in the windows if they did not comply.

Maybe the mistakes could be defended if the policy was actually working and there were mass deportations. Trump isn't deporting any more illegals than Biden did. That makes it even worse.

With ^that^, I can see "papers please" being the new normal. Real ID, for example, per Kristi Noam. Because, you know, that is the ULTIMATE goal.

The claim that 6,600 US veteran wives were arrested by ICE is false, likely stemming from a misunderstanding of a single case involving a Marine veteran's wife who was detained and later released. She was one of over 6,600 non-citizen parents of U.S. citizen children detained in recent months, not specifically "veteran wives". While some undocumented family members of veterans have faced detention, U.S. citizens, including spouses of veterans, cannot be arrested or deported by ICE.
  • The specific case: The number 6,600 refers to a broader group of non-citizen parents of U.S. citizen children who were detained, not exclusively veteran wives. One prominent example was the wife of a Marine veteran who was detained, but she was later released with the help of her husband's congressional representative.

Never could. We've always been able only to hotlink.
Maybe this is the Mandela effect but I distinctly remember being able to post pics directly from my computer for a short time. Regardless, what I do now is upload to by blogger.com account. My favorite pic to share here:

That's nice. We already have a "booga booga...mass immigration bad" thread. It's @Anti Federalist's "invasion" thread. Funny enough in the last election Trump lied about Haitians eating cats and dogs but the "per capita" numbers showed that crime actually went DOWN in Springfield Ohio after they moved in. The main people complaining about the Springfield Haitians were the local meth addicted white people who were upset because the Haitians had more money on their EBT cards because, unlike the meth addicted whites, they worked factory jobs and were able to rollover their EBT benefits from month to month. And sure, migrants should get it, including the racist white South Africans Trump is bringing over based on the lie of "white genocide" in that country, but the law is the law until it is changed.

Without mass immigration, Social Security will collapse. Trump knows this even if his supporters do not. The Trump administration announced that by 2035 Social Security will only pay out about 80% of benefits. Rand Paul has pushed for raising the retirment age but that's a bandaid approach. Native born Americans just aren't having enough babies. Ending Roe v Wade didn't fix the problem and it may have exacerbated it because a significant number of gen Z women went and got themselves sterilized for fear of getting pregant. (Just using an IUD and/or stocking up on "Plan-B" and/or moving to a blue state apparently is too much like work). Why do you think Trump is supporting H1B visas and bringing in 600,000 Chinese students to "save the univiversities" who's funding he's always trying to cut anyway? Why do you think Trump is pushing for amnesty for illegal immigrants who work on farms, in hotels and in manufacturing? (Ironic since he seems so hell bent on deporting the Haitians who mostly work in manufacturing.) It's because despite being (rightfully) accused of being stupid, Trump has actually looked at the Social Security numbers. Raising the retirement age is a political non-starter. Cutting benefits now is a political non starter. Raising taxes is a political non starter. And his math illiterate base is demanding mass deportation. So he's doing draconian deportation to get people THINKING he's doing mass deportation while not actually doing it. That's what @69360 realizes. That's what Nick Fuentes realizes. If Trump could convince enough white people to immigrate to the U.S. that would solve the problem. There are a lot of Ukrainians here but theirs no guarantee how they would swing electoral politics considering that Democrats have been more supportive of the Ukrainian war (though over 60% of Ukrainians now just want the war to end.) White South Africans are the jackpot. There are 4.4 million of them, enough to make an actual dent in the Social Security Trust Fund. But only 67,000 of those supposedly (according to the Trump administration) want to come here and when the door was open to them only about 70 came. And Trump is boxed in by his anti migrant position because the total cap for migrants from ANYWHERE is now 7,500.

It's more yacking from central planning partisans, one from the right, one from the left, both of who support defective socialist policies. It's time to change that.

"Yes, I fully realize that there are lots of Americans, including many libertarians, who continue to support America’s socialist system of immigration controls. They continue to hold out hope that someone, including Donald Trump, will finally — finally! — make this dysfunctional system work.
But it will never work because socialism is an inherently defective system. And make no mistake about it: As I detail in my new book, America’s immigration-control system is a socialist system, in that it is based on the core socialist principle of central planning. As Ludwig von Mises pointed out, socialist central planning produces “planned chaos.”
And let’s not forget the massive immigration police state that is required to enforce this socialist system: an enveloping militarized national police state, along with troops now occupying our cities; masked immigration officials in unmarked cars grabbing people off the streets and disappearing them; separating children from parents; violent raids on American businesses; bankrupting American farmers; criminalizing Americans who hire, transport, or care for illegal immigrants; warrantless searches of ranches and farms within 100 miles of the border; massive surveillance of the borderlands; domestic highway checkpoints; roving Border Patrol checkpoints; a Berlin Wall based on eminent domain stealing of people’s land; threats against foreign regimes; massive forced deportations; death; destruction of freedom of association and liberty of contract; attacks on habeas corpus, due process, and other civil liberties; and much more. At the risk of belaboring the obvious, that type of society cannot be considered a genuinely free society by any stretch of the imagination. On the contrary, it is the very hallmark of an oppressive, tyrannical society — the type of society that libertarians ardently oppose.

Right wing and left wing socialism? You don't say?

From the ending of Animal Farm:

Twelve voices were shouting in anger, and they
were all alike. No question, now, what had happened
to the faces of the pigs. The creatures outside looked
from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig
to man again; but already it was impossible to say
which was which.
