Thank you so much for your donation!

+rep to you!

I revised the ad somewhat to sharpen up the message a little and include a suggestion earlier in this thread:

Is this better or worse than in the original post?

(the website address is a placeholder for now, not an actual site)

Maybe "Bring your family and friends to caucus for Ron Paul"?

Doesn't imply they need convincing and is a bit more assertive. But it's your project, do what you think is best.

Well I'm looking for feedback, and you're right -- "bring... " does sound more confident than "convince..."

I'll change that. :-)

Something similar needs done for Nevada.

I agree.

The web portal being currently developed to register and organize the grassroots by location (with notification service) as part of this project can be expanded to any state in the US. We're just focusing on Iowa to begin with and see if interest in this continues to develop. If there is enough interest and funding, this can go very big, actually.

The efforts are ongoing, currently focused on the website development and implementation of its mission. We're also trying to bring a graphic designer on board to help develop a nice graphic template for the site.

When we have a preview of the website or the beta version, we will update.

We're still short of our donation goal for the project, so more donations will be appreciated.

Bump for designer, animator or developer (drupal or social network widgets/mobile devices), if you are one of these and would like to work on what is sure to be an amazing project pm me.

edit: prefer professionals with industry exp. but if you are very talented we would be interested in you as well.

I have a completed site, fully tested. Was working with D.A.S., until Orenbus came along and said that Joomla sucked and he could do a better job.

Apparently, they have to raise money now for something that's completely finished.

That'll happen from time to time.

Anyway, you can look at this, test it out. It has a bachmann2012 on it, but ignore that. I'll be moving whatever data is there over whenever I feel like setting it up somewhere else.

I'm basically doing a Beta Test of a Ron Paul site on a Bachmann site, where it doesn't matter if it works or not.

And it works.

I'm saying, this is the time to critique this site.

This is a very important project that is geared towards making a difference in the early states like Iowa, NH and SC.
Yes and boots on the ground is the only way to do it.

we aim to energize the student base by encouraging them to get actively involved and to connect to the Ron Paul grassroots base.
Which is what needs to be done.

Helping people to organize in the early states, so to make sure people actually cast their vote is essential. Boots on the ground, creating a network, spreading the word and attaching those new voters to the network, and on the day it counts, get all ready to go outside and vote, whatever the weather!

The early states hold the key. We MUST perform well over there! Ron Paul must score to get momentum in the press, or it wont work. We need the masses to join/follow our course. And that will only happen if dr Paul does great in the first few states. So choose your activity/activities to support and act.
